Thargoid Structures still had plenty last time I checked - lots of them around - one on the planet under the Oracle in Delphi. AlsoChecked a few barnacle sites around Merope, depleted. Suspect we have to visit the Witch Head Nebula for the meta-alloys.
They should have fitted some novelty sunglasses to it, to make it more friendly.
By asking for a thargoid heart this is going to be a trophy for killing thargoids and not a celebration of our wonderful farming neighbours that we share the galaxy with.
I'd like a non combat (or at least a vegetarian) version.
We're all equals - thargoid lives matter too.
I agree! I totally feel shortchanged by this II. After bravely delivering exploration data from somewhere completely unrelated to the whole Thargoid thing, and then bravely running away again as quickly as possible, I feel like I earned some kind of recognition for my valiant efforts. Do I get anything? NO! Instead I get informed that I actually need to go and shoot stuff in order to get a dying flower sculpture for my dashboard. Once again, FDev focus on the childish pew-pew and leave us scientists with nothing. Very poor show, I say.
[Not really]
FYI, that was my first Interceptor kill, and I managed to scrape by with my engineered Krait MK II despite making several rookie mistakes. Having watched some of the videos of how to take down Interceptors did help.
It's not a massive undertaking to take out an Interceptor, it just requires you to be patient and don't play right into the strengths ofthe Thargoid and its swarm. If I can do it, anyone (with a certain emount of engineering and unlocked AX weapons) can do it.
that
Now if any of you pacifists really want to get it without any actual Xeno killing, I'd be willing to trade a heart for say....10 meta alloys?
Days in a T9 are their own reward....
Not whining, but spending days in a T-9 deserves a huge reward - decals, paint jobs and a holo-ad with my name on it on every starport in the galaxy…
