Thargoid Bobblehead from Human Brokers

This is good, you have to earn that bobblehead!

Now if any of you pacifists really want to get it without any actual Xeno killing, I'd be willing to trade a heart for say....10 meta alloys?

Checked a few barnacle sites around Merope, depleted. Suspect we have to visit the Witch Head Nebula for the meta-alloys.

Can confirm, the Thargoid Structure I was at had about 4 ripe spires. A TS was a great place, because Chloe told me to hunt some scavengers anyway.

If your ship is running hot, this bobble head can also work as a fan. Very useful!

I'm hoping FDev is planning more unlockable Thargoid Bobbleheads for Basilisk, Medusa and Hydra.

The unlock requirements for those should include a tissue sample of the relevant interceptor.

By asking for a thargoid heart this is going to be a trophy for killing thargoids and not a celebration of our wonderful farming neighbours that we share the galaxy with.
I'd like a non combat (or at least a vegetarian) version.

We're all equals - thargoid lives matter too.

I agree! I totally feel shortchanged by this II. After bravely delivering exploration data from somewhere completely unrelated to the whole Thargoid thing, and then bravely running away again as quickly as possible, I feel like I earned some kind of recognition for my valiant efforts. Do I get anything? NO! Instead I get informed that I actually need to go and shoot stuff in order to get a dying flower sculpture for my dashboard. Once again, FDev focus on the childish pew-pew and leave us scientists with nothing. Very poor show, I say.

[Not really]

FYI, that was my first Interceptor kill, and I managed to scrape by with my engineered Krait MK II despite making several rookie mistakes. Having watched some of the videos of how to take down Interceptors did help.

It's not a massive undertaking to take out an Interceptor, it just requires you to be patient and don't play right into the strengths ofthe Thargoid and its swarm. If I can do it, anyone (with a certain emount of engineering and unlocked AX weapons) can do it.

I delivered scan data, spend days in a T-9 and then even traveled to WHN in a Vulture to kill some scouts - managed to kill 5 before the event ended (traveling in a Vulture takes time and those 5 kills where my first Thargoid combat encounters).
I surely hoped for a slightly better personal reward - but I guess personal narrative is it now. Well. No personal narrative heart collecting for me, will focus on different narratives that are more personal.
Not whining, but spending days in a T-9 deserves a huge reward - decals, paint jobs and a holo-ad with my name on it on every starport in the galaxy…

Was my 1st big Thargoid too. Cyclops, obviously. Did it in T10 with four AX MC turrets and some beams.
Actually, I killed two of them. On my 1st try, I died rather hilariously - caught thruster malfunction just before Cyclops blew up, ended up in acid cloud, couldn't get away in time :ROFLMAO:

Hmm, might have to take you up on that.

I'd still like to keep 'goid blood off my hands just in case there's some kind of "plot twist" where the 'goids want to be fwends with CMDR's who've never been hostile toward them.

Course, with my luck FDev will decide that hauling MAs/UAs counts as "being hostile" and, lordy, I've done my share of that. 😕

Days in a T9 are their own reward.

Wed love for you to come back and join in. Still plenty of hauling opportunities out to the suburbs. Can't guarantee decals or holo-ads, but every long distance hauler get a "worn" paint job for free. (y)
