You can unlock the Bobblehead at any Human Tech broker so long as you have the ten meta alloys and the heart with you; the broker I checked with was at Babbage Gateway in Ceos.

It's feasible... especially with synth rounds... though it's easier to knock two hearts and then just pump it.

I'm kinda surprised by the responses so far... my initial reaction was "Oh. Is that all it needs? ". I was expecting one of each tissue sample or one each of a probe, link and sensor.

Indeed, I did not expect hearts because they usually don't want to push people into fighting thargoids, but at least one tissue sample for each interceptor

So maybe better to search for some new planetary crash sites before fitting AX weapons?

Shame. I probably won't get this one as I only take on scouts. Interceptors have never given me any issues if I leave them alone. In fact, I've had some pretty awe-inspiring interactions with them.

It'd be neat if interceptors get aggressive if they scan one of these on your ship...

AFAIK no Thargoid Hearts have been found at planetary crash sites. Hearts are only found when destroying a Thargoid Interceptor.

Unlock Requirements are fun

By asking for a thargoid heart this is going to be a trophy for killing thargoids and not a celebration of our wonderful farming neighbours that we share the galaxy with.
I'd like a non combat (or at least a vegetarian) version.

We're all equals - thargoid lives matter too.

Okay, got a Thargoid heart. Darnielle's Progress only sells 2 (!) Meta-Alloys at a time, so I guess I'll have to hop into a SRV and get the rest from a barnacle.

Also note: The caustic cloud after a Thargoid Interceptor does not seem to come off with decontamination limpets, used 3 to no effect, but overheating my ship to 200% heat did remove the effect.

Are you sure you weren't still in the cloud at the time? It's really hard to see these days and stretches out to a 4km radius at it's maximum.

Fairly sure I was out of it, was 5 km away from the Thargoid Heart, and 3 decontamination limpets did nothing.
