Thargoid Interactions

To me it seems more and more evident that the Thargoid ships are bioengineerd living thargoids or some other living entity , we take tissue samples(since when do space ship have tissue) they scream when u kill them , and drop body parts like hearts and various carapace parts and other biomechanical items...

You can take a tissue sample from a tree and people live in log cabins. Boats are also predominantly wooden.

Its just as likely they are bioengineered ships rather than metal like humans built. Not enough evidence either way yet.

Just a generalised observation. Has anyone else noticed that the stations attacked are almost exclusively in systems which contain extraction economies (metals and minerals) - at least using the economy filter in galaxy navigation (iirc systems can have multiple economies vs. station) ? Benningtons Rest in the 42 N Persei system may be the next target ?

It's interesting, because the 2 yet burning station and the outpost in those systems are military, and most attacked stations not mainly extraction. From another angle, all the attacked systems including the last 2, has extraction economy, and interesting to see, if you filter to it, only those were attacked. However still multiple systems are around the Nebula with Aegis stations, but only one left with extraction economy: Pleiades sector PD-S B4-0, Ieyasu Dock. Most likely the next target on this logic.

I think 42 N Persei will not be the next target, because no Aegis presence in that system. However if it will be, then not Aegis the only target.
I also noticed the dominant of the ext. economy when the new bases were built, before the first attacks, but I wasn't saw any importance, I thought it is a big extraction project around the Nebula. Edit: The periphery of the bubble also more ex/ref/industry. Towards the edge are less and less agri/high tech/service etc economys.

Edit: newer mind about 41 N Persei, just looked up the galnet article about Aegis, that station also built in that project, so can be a target.

Have any of you folks been pulled out of darkspace by multiple thargoid ships? Is this type of encounter already known?

You mean hyperspace? Yeah it's called a hyperdiction, but it's quite cool in an unnerving way when it 1st happens to you :). They can happen upto about 250 LYs from Merope.

I've had 1-3 ships in the several hyperdictions I've had btw.

Got pulled by 4 of them en route to Oort Orbital from Maia. Got de-powered, scanned, and all of them took off.

It's the fact we aren't even 100% sure on what they want yet that scares the hell out of me.

Though admittedly, popping into a signal source full of disabled Imperial Cutters and having the presumed culprit get within kissing distance of you is a close second.

What a spooky graveyard this is.

We don't know jack about them, and that's a problem. We barely know how to take out what is likely their smallest ships, and that's it. No clue on their language, how they communicate, where they are coming from... And going by the pattern of the most recent attacked stations, they're heading towards the human bubble (albeit a glancing blow judging by their current course).

Taking an aggressive stance against them feels flat out suicidal at this point.

Has anyone saw Thargoids scanning the destroyed megaships? I´ve seen them scanning me and the destroyed Banner class bulk cargo ship BTG-237 at Pleiades Sector IR-W D1-55 near planet 5A. Sadly my screenshot got forgotten somewhere, even tho i pressed the button.

Getting reports of NHSS in 64 & 49 Arietis today - the systems were attacked this week by Thargoids and are outside the 150 Ly around Merope. And they're not just NHSS5. This is new [up]

Quick follow-up - NHSS7 being seen in the system with starports which were attacked this week and also some in nearby systems. No NHSS5 or 6 in these ssytems.

NHSS5 shell appears to also be changing - NHSS5 seem 162 Ly from Merope (previous max was 150). Either the shell is expanding, or it is moving. (Or this is an unrelated area). It's not the same as the NHSS7 area. Anyone with the EDMC plugin and some spare time, it would be worth having a look around the Arietis / Hyades sectors, as more reports would be good - spawn rates for NHSS7 seem pretty good, NHSS5 spawn less (so feel like they are still at the 'edge' of something).

You can see the changes (if you turn most stuff off and squint) on the Canonn maps, as they show the data from the reports - note the new NHSS7 where none were previously seen ... https://map.canonn.technology/thargoids/

Thanks for the heads up! Last time I checked the map was around the first attacks. Not even know the NHSS 6-7 are only close to the nebula. I thought it's all around with the 5-s.
So looks like their main pushing force is their strongest(yet known) ships aka Medusa, well rip Humanity then...

EDIT: Well, I was just about to say I'm out for scouting btw. I have no plugin, but going to report if I find something.
BUT: I'm in 64 Arietis now, dorpped into the first 3 NHSS 7, and all 3 contains only Thargoid Sensors! Bad RNG? I'm continue the scouting, will report back.
Update: in the 4. was a Medusa...

Edit2: Found another system with NHSS7-s ARIETIS SECTOR CQ-Y C7 also reported with battlezone rep. but without logograms, I'm not going to jump into each one of them.
Another: 59 ARIETIS

Edit3: I installed EDMC+the plugin for convenience

Yeah the map makes it clear how limited the 6/7 area has been, most don't seem to know. Thanks for looking for more systems - the more the merrier and more fun than sitting around waiting for 3.0. Giving me some hope that next week's attacks will lead to more than just "now the labs are gone", maybe Nhss will spread to the bubble..
