I've just had something unusual happen, after dropping into an NHSS th 6 in Pleiades Sector GW-W c1-5, I grabbed the pods & boosted out till 10-15 kms away.
I then turned & faced the green cloud, posted to the data gathering thread about this system, when I looked back at ED I could see a yellow/green blob near the cloud. Puzzled as to what it was I went back & took a close look, turns out the wormhole the Thargoid used to get out was still there!
Weird! Probably just a bug but I took the chance to take a very close look & video it ,if anyone wants to see it, lmk.

Recently I am hunting opening process of the thargoid wake. I would like to have confirmation, for what I see (cca every 3rd time, could be because of my slow laptop to be able to notice more details in slow motion): a second before that green beam from Thargoid starts to open the wake, square shaped something appears in front of it, and the shape inside is always the same (symmetric). Posted a picture somewhere, anybody seen that in-game? It started cca 2 weeks ago, never seen it before.

Yes I've seen the square shaped flash slightly before the beam & just before the 'doof' noise, I've mentioned that before, asked if anyone had noticed it before & even posted a pic of it (& possibly in this thread!) (and video here ), but no one answered me.
I think you've got to be at the correct angle to see it, as well as look at the right time.

Btw, I do have a 2nd 1 where Moribus joins me & flies through it (he couldn't see it btw), sadly he didn't end up in another galaxy surrounded by Thargoids. Oh, I would post that video, but I forgot to stop recording after the wormhole meetup so there's a load stuff I need to cut off from the end of the video 1st, & I don't know how atm.

I have ax multicannon and ax missles fitted to my vulture, but they don't fire, why is that?

This will show up when green beam is half-way to the wake, then fade away completely, and then green wake cloud appears.

Being a FuelRat, I fired a fuel limpet at it. Turns out it transferred fuel to the flower and it didn't get mad at me

Taygeta is a fabulous system if you want to play with Thargoids.
I dropped in on NHSS 5 about 1mm from Titan's Daughter. It was empty apart from a lone Thargoid Sensor. So I scooped it and waited about a minute and a Basilisk jumped in an tried to mug me. I high tailed it spamming boost straight down towards the asteroids. At first the Thargons were unable to keep up with the Basilisk which was doing around 530ms and they dropped off the radar. But when I went into the field and flipped to the other side, it seems that he Basilisk was unable to follow where the Thargons were able. I was able to maintain a much more comfortable pace of 430ms and stay just 4km ahead of the Thargons. Most of the time the Basilisk wasn't even on the radar.
As I approached Titan's Daughter I pushed through the asteroid field so that I could have a clear view of the station. Once I swapped sides the Basilisk cam back into view and once again I had to spam the boost to keep ahead of it.
I got to the station and was granted docking right but unfortunately the system authority scanned my cargo and found the probe as I was making my approach the system authority vessels and the Basilisk opened fire and I was a few million poorer.
I didnt get any decent images of the basilisk or the Thargons because of jamming boost but here are some others after the spoiler

Yeah it is a nice system, seeing the asteroids so near the station is cool , although when I 1st went there I wondered if I was going to drop into the asteroid field rather than the station.
Bummer on the rebuy, sounds like you made the same mistake I did last night! I'm briefly out of the Pleiades atm & back in the bubble, I was mining with my Python in a haz res site (but 15+ km out), my 1st mistake was getting involved in a fight (with some valuable cargo onboard!) trying to help a fellow miner (NPC) (inside 15 km!), the initial enemy wasn't a problem, the bunch piling in was! I did a runner before my shields dropped, but not soon enough (2nd mistake, I was too single tracked on dropping the 1st enemies shlds!), my shields dropped & soon after thrusters malfunctioned (lucky shot by the NPCs!), about the same time I belatedly realised it was pointless running as 1 of them was much quicker than my ship! (mistake 3!). So I tried to high wake out, & instead of opening the nav panel I opened the comms panel! I'd hit the wrong key, black keyboard in low light conditions doesn't work! (changing it in a minute!!), mistake 4, which cost me many precious seconds as my hull was being pounded, I finally selected a system, tried to jump and..... 'Drives disabled', spam H button, no good, drives disabled, didn't come back online in time & boom! :/.
Oh, my final mistake (no 5!!), which could've saved me if I'd done otherwise, was I didn't dump at least some of my cargo. They probably would've left me alone if I'd done that! So instead of losing 5-10t of cargo, I lost 30-50t (not a full hold at least) of precious metals & 4.5 mill rebuy!. The other annoying thing was I was about to log out before getting involved in that fight, I should have done! Ahhhh!
Anyway, in future for both of us, dump the cargo! (or some anyway).
For me, absolutely don't go inside 15km of a haz res site with precious cargo! lol, etc

Lol, no way! Seriously? What made me chuckle is that you've gone to the trouble of nearly killing 1, then you 'healed' it! I bet it was very confused!
