Within the constraints of it though.

For the EDastro maps, the interactive map will have the GMP POI pins that get added for DSSA carriers. This has the limitation that it will only have the ones that are added to the GMP, and not all of them (EDIT: I'm considering also adding the entire DSSA list by web-scraping the "tracker" spreadsheet or something, but haven't decided). Also, there's a more general carrier distribution map for all active carriers that get submitted through EDDN docking events. That latter one will show where they are in the galaxy, but not which systems they're in, and so on.

I thought that the numbered pink crosses noted where the carriers are meant to be? In the cases where their owners have decided, in any case.
It should help though that once a player has an idea about the general location, they can use the galaxy map to find the carrier's exact system.
Unless it turns out that there are several carriers nearby, but I think that would be an edge case away from the "hotspots".
Ahh, I see now. Duh me. What's the story with Sanguineous Rim? Is it not going to get any fleet carriers? That's my "home away from home", and while there are some asteroid bases out here, it sure would be handy to have some fleet carriers in the area as well. I'd put one here myself if I could afford it.
I think they had decided not to deploy carriers in the regions that have infrastructure already, even if that infrastructure is only at one end of the region. They're pretty spacious regions, though. I think it would make sense to allow one or two in the more remote half of those regions.

Yeah, the DSSA-locked regions are pretty spacious, and only have a handful of stations concentrated in relatively small areas. The remaining areas are quite large, perhaps larger than some regions too. It might make more sense to say "no carriers within 2,500 ly of stations" instead.

Now that I have web-scraping working for the DSSA fleet carrier spreadsheet, I'm populating pins on the interactive map with them. These will show in red, and the mouse-over text mentions that they're not deployed. Normally the pins will have green icons, after deployment.

You have your location as "NGC 3199", which isn't the name of a star system that the script can look up for coordinates.
EDIT: The script can strip out extraneous stuff after a name, though. If you want, you could enter it as "System Name AA-A h123 (NGC 3199)" or something like that.

For manually updating ones, the GMP on EDSM will show some of the carriers, the primary club - and for a full version, there's the first post.
Will EDAstro and EDSM automatically happen once we obtain a FC on live? I use EDDiscovery to post my logs to EDSM and Inara.
Secondly, I updated my profile for Wanderer's Rest FC #103 as the Flyai Pre ZE-A e1 system as the destination, but still not seen it update in the map on page one. I don't know if I was supposed to post anything here.
I am all but ready to go. I got to Colonia last night and I am doing my 61 hour transfer of some of my fleet from the bubble. Planning on trying to unlock some engineers since I have no intention of returning to the bubble on this CMDR anytime in the near future.

The ED Astro interactive galmap is going to use a combination of the GMP POI pins, and reading from the DSSA "tracker" spreadsheet. As long as your destination system in the form/spreadsheet is a real system that exists in the EDSM data, your pin should start showing up. Right now I have it updating a few times a day.
