Going in! The one good thing about repeated landscape features is that there is a choice among a number of candidates when I want to investigate some oddity further. In this case, some odd divots in the ground turned out to be interesting choices for Concha to live in, and some of the multiples of the divots were in picturesque locations:

I was going to post something similar. For the first time in a while I did some fuel scooping...saw some old solar flares, so I went afk....came back, and a flare like this was developing far in the distance...I hadnt seen that before....the next star I scooped at, had a close one just like this. Those flares are amazing to see! I am enjoying fuel scooping all of a sudden.

Continuing our journey we have entered a new region of space - The Norma Arm.

The Star of the East is performing beautifully. There is some wear and tear, and we are concerned about the appearance of metal fatigue around the hatch areas. When we make it to port, she will have earned her stripes.

A warm glow on a world with 2 and half times the gravity on Earth is reward enough for the danger of landing here.

The morning greeted us with a spectacular ringscape and dangerous temperatures.

The opposite end of the spectrum are worlds too low to sustain much life. The translucent ice providing fantastic landscapes to be enthralled at.
