The great big Odyssey Screenshots thread

Hmmm. I see your lemon meringue ...

and I raise you one cheese world - with an oat biscuit!

We are alone once more.

The noise of human occupancy has dissipated.
QexhNRY.png

We are left with the singing of the planets - the frequencies of worlds and rings that alternately crackle and snap, then whistle and rumble...

All sticking up a finger at humanity...

"You haven't spoiled me yet!"

The L-Type star gave us a permanent twilight in which to wander about this potato planet.

The plant life was plentiful.

The landscape was also something to see. Driving was a challenge as the slightest bump launched you into the air.

A half-dozen systems later we stumble across a world with 7 species.

Starting in a valley with fields of fungi...

Mixed with other life, it was hard not to bump into this stuff. Here's me wondering if it goes well with cheese!

This is the first time we had encounter cacti like this!

The same goes for this species of Osseus. All you need is the water fountain and it could find it's place in Hampton Court Palace Gardens.

Never let it be said though that I don't know how to have a little fun too: I discovered elongated man on this world...

Well, we are coming to the end of this two week expedition.
7VVMWoh.png

And what have we learned?
w9SAvxW.png

We have learned that there is a lot out there yet to be explored and discovered. The two are not necessarily the same thing.

The bottom of the Galaxy below the Bubble is well discovered.

As is the gap between the Bubble and the Sanquinous Rim.
0BeB0qI.png

But once you get beyond the gap, about 4kylies, you are in uncharted space. Some of the Class A stars have been visited, but there is plenty of undiscovered stars waiting!

Time to head home!

Actually - changing the filter to scoopable stars it's 88 jumps. I'm not going to get it all done today...

Indeed - Scoop jumping has it's risks - and this is the one time I clipped the exclusion zone.

Nevertheless, we made good progress in the 40 or so minutes and have made it nearly 2 thirds of the way back.

See you soon, o7!
