Following my discovery that my entire meager stock of 100 various items was sold out in less than a day, and thus there apparently is a high demand for Odyssey materials, I figured that we could all use a dedicated space on the Forums to advertise what we have available in our Fleet Carrier's Bartender catalogue (as apparently there is no current way to figure out what a Bartender has on tap in stock beyond visiting them, at least to my knowledge).

As with the other material threads, remember to update your posts to indicate when items have been depleted or when you've moved your Carrier. Include the name, ID and location of your Fleet Carrier so we can find it. If you are able, run down to the Bartender and grab some screenshots of what you have on offer - this can help prospective buyers / sellers see what your Carrier has ahead of time.

This OP will be a living post, and I will be updating it periodically when my stock depletes or I replenish it.

In addition, here's some info regarding Engineering unlock materials from further down in the Thread:

Presumably, this should also work for any other unlocks that require selling to a bartender (except for the one that specifies selling to colonia starports).

Edit 4: Cleaned up the OP and added the latest round of stuff for sale.
Edit 5: I'm fresh out of mats. Going looting for more!
Edit 6: Restocked, and I made sure my Pioneer Supplies store sells E-Breaches if you need them.
Edit 7: Added tons of Assets, Data and a few Goods as a result of the new Hotfix increasing the storage limit.
Edit 8: Nearly 1000 items sold in 2 hours and 62,377,182 Credits made - I'm off to get more stuff!
Edit 9: New stock posted. I've made somewhere north of 107 million Credits with the Bartender since Update 11 dropped.

Edit 16: Stock depleted, 107,595,003 Credits earned - beat my record again.

Edit 21: Removed Manufacturing Instructions and Opinion Polls from the callout above - out of stock.

Edit 24: Updated position of carrier while under a hail of fire from some persistent NPCs around my Carrier.

Not at all meant as criticism - but just wanted to say it might be a better thread in the Odyssey subsection with the other exchange threads.

You can report it and ask the mods to move it if you want, but this is in no way a demand! I just wanted to make a suggestion in case you thought it would help.

True - putting this thread into the Odyssey subforum did cross my mind. My initial thought was that putting it in Dangerous Discussion would allow for more folks to see this thread, but from an organizational standpoint having it down there makes sense as well. This Thread was a spur-of-the-moment idea following the discovery of how fast I sold out all my stock.

The thread seems to be gaining some traction here, so I'll leave it up to The Powers That Be to decide for now while I contemplate this. A good suggestion, nonetheless :D

You can sell Culinary Recipes at your Bartender so the patrons can bartend the bar 🙃


I'm going to have to go explode a few more Settlements to get more stuff then. Methinks I have a good business idea here...

Also at this rate I won't have anything left to sell!

No worries mate, you do what you are happiest with of course - I made mention really because of how the gear one took off over there, but I totally agree that it's getting going here. I presume you can have it moved anytime you need, never asked.

Anyway, I'm wary of sounding like I'm being the police, where I had no intention to do that at all lol! Take it easy mate.

I´d pay hundreds of millions for mats if only I could just sit in my carrier without lifting a finger and have other CMDRs do everything.

For what I know the prices are capped at the moment.

It's so fast that I'm actually getting concerned the materials are falling into a black hole. Any info relating to the sales of the materials I have isn't showing up in the Bartender Sales Trend Chart:

I think that I'm selling items, but I'm worried that the game might be eating my stuff. To whoever may have purchase something from me: did this stuff actually show up?

I pay no attention to local laws and regulations and blow up all the things with an L-6 and an Oppressor in my Dominator suit. Once everyone and all the reinforcements they call in have been dealt with (for BGS reasons) I run back around the Settlement with my Maverick suit. If time permits, I then farm some of the ships flying overhead, if any.

Due to the current BGS situation in 25 Nu-2 Draconis, most of my targets are Industrial Settlements - particularly the U-shaped ones. Occasionally I'll hit an Agricultural or High Tech Settlement based on the relative Influence levels of the factions in the system to keep all the Factions in check with one another.

Not to sidetrack things, but out of curiosity - do you find this an efficient mechanism for supplying negative influence? Nobody seems to have a clear idea of how effective Odyssey crime is (vs murdering ships, black market trades, etc), but the slow notoriety gain does make it attractive if it works.
