Eagles are done. They have an interior, but not much of one. It has retracting landing gear and an opening cargo scoop. The differences between the two variants were minimal enough that I when ahead and built the imp version(heck the imp one follows the regular instructions up to step 82 lol). I am particularly proud of the nose.

love this kind of stuff, that rebrickable site doesn't seem to be able to locate 100% of the parts though, is that common?
also the inventory shows £43 but to shop its £120 (missing that part), guessing the former is cost from new and latter is supply/demand costs?

this is a proper rabbit hole, been trying to resists for a while now

Sourcing lego is a pain in the cargo hatch!

When I built my 1/11 scale SRV I had to run every part through rebrickable to a) check that the parts used were common and not super rare and b) if I had used a rare part substitute it for a common part. You can then export the part list and upload it to BrickLink and you should then be able to bulk order the parts from as few sellers as possible

you need to use multibuy, then sort by cheapest shipping. 100% of the parts and cheaper.

Sexy stuff. I would say though:

The Asp Scout does not have chunky forward thrusters- they are underneath and buried in the 'wings'

The Asp Scout does not feature the 'hump' that the Asp E has on the front (above the cockpit)

But other than that, fantastic! I like the angle work the most- really clean, especially on such a scale.

This was brought up on the reddit. I have fixed this and will be muuuch more careful in the future. The post has been updated. Thank you for your feedback :)

Dimondbacks done. This was a fun model to build. As there would be no way to access it, I left out the majority of the interior, leaving only the pilots personal cabin containing a bed. the gear retracts and cargo scoop can open, as well as having rotating thrust pods like in the game. there's something odd about the t6, still nice but maybe a bit too flat? all others are just fantastic. incredible work!

Thanks! The type 6 has a very gentile incline of about 3 degrees above the thrusters. I couldn't add that and have the hear vents at the same time unfortunately.

Screw yamicks, the theme of the day has really been this shuttle.

Sure its a no brainer from a collectors point of view if you like the adult space theme. But.. see the mrs and i are very new to these plastic bricks, only been into them 1-2 years now. We generally prefer the larger sets over the kids stuff. We have a few thousands worth now, though no lego room, they're just shelf pieces (and this is good). Theres only ever been one regret from my side... the iss! While it was such a good idea.. they nailed the impossible by making it both too large and too small at the same time.. its too small to do the iss justice.. by a long shot, but its also too large that it takes up so much space among others. Doesnt help that it sags. Its frustating, the only set that's been dismantled and back in the box.

So for the shuttle.. considering it with a bit of apprehension.

Well.. until seeing this.

Also nice to meet you all. My favourite set is the ideas tree house. That's what started it. The end.

Excellent work by Beef!

I bought a sealed Saturn V set towards the beginning of lockdown last year (I regretted not getting the V when it was originally on sale). I intellectually knew what 1m was, but a 1m model is really something else. Currently standing up on my desk as I have nowhere else to put it.

Might have to pick up the ISS at some point too.

EDIT: Have just seen the new Shuttle + Hubble kit. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!!
