The procedural ...... Bla bal
You
Missed my point.
My opinion is from game implementing point of view, from perspective of a programmer . Not directly pointed to this game but more the software solution method of procedural programming. More in general speaking.
I have the privilege of being one of the very first backers. I always found Josh's professionalism admirable and he is certainly a perfectionist. Every update is amazing, his project management skills are amazing and you can see his daily progress on his blog.
Limit Theory will be completely amazing and I too agree that Josh is also a "David Braben"![]()
I think the nebula and dust will vary between different systems and I think there are options to adjust the level of dust or "fog" as Josh calls it.
The ships do look a bit box-like, but they have improved over time, I'm not sure if anything further is planned.
The fast travel gates link space stations together. So if you can't find a suitable job in one space station you can quickly zip across to another one in the same system. You can also fly there outwith the gates but I'm imagining it will take a while.
Someone who has played the pre-alpha stuff might be able to supply more detailed answers.
Thanks for all the information Verne.

I hadn't realized we joined the Limit Theory KS on the same day Styggron. We were in good company with Alien and Brodie. It was Dave (Daffy Duck) Woods who was there before us.
It seems a very long time ago now.![]()
I dont want to advertise here, but there is already a game of this kind available and called
evochron mercenary. http://www.starwraith.com/evochronmercenary/
Also entirely done by one person. Although the universe in EM is static, i cant see big differences in comparison to LT.

I never heard of EV but I downloaded the demo.
It's also worth pointing out that the older Starwraith games (1-4) were made freely available by the author and are available in the SSC download area. I uploaded a file that enables Starwraith 1&2 to run on modern PCs within the same archive. They don't have the graphical fidelity of EV, but they ain't bad either.![]()
