If it was a bug he should have still accepted his fate and died - he could then make a Support Ticket and if it really was a bug they'd refund his rebuy.

Why even bother playing the game if you're not willing to die on occasion? The 15 second countdown, even if it is "legal" is complete nonsense IMO.

He's in a combat ship, with people attacking him, at worst he's getting ganked, a tactic where multiple people gang up against one target they couldn't take otherwise.
He then logs out waiting for timer, something their members have complained about frontier not calling combat logging..

I both like and dislike when my stereotype on certain groups of people are reinforced.
Like, because I was right and didn't misjudge someone.
Dislike, because I can't wrap my head around the behaviour.

Oh well...carry on.

Yeah definitely something odd.
10.6 ly so not over range, the message was insufficient fuel, not fuel usage would exceed x.xx tons which is the jump out of range message
Fuel showed sufficient levels past the blue indicator
