I can only speak for myself but, I was kind of excited for this game early on due to the same team behind it that made my all time favorite Fallout New Vegas. Lately tho after watching few longer game plays I just cant find anything that would hook me on it. Yes, game looks alright... and that is it. I didn't see anything that would say - this is our games "shtick" so you should play it right now!

So, seems while Beth is angering fans with FO76 and Egosoft is brining out the new X4.. Obsidian is up to its own evil games. The Firefly vibes are strong with this one, but so are the Fallout ones :) Guess we'll find out on Dec 6th.

But as Vasco says, as we found more it feels more like Borderlands 3.5 or Fallout 2.1. Which is ok, but probably not essential. Will be looking at the reviews.

I'd say it has the same problem fallouts have - it's just too long, run-around-ey, and slow in progression. Fine when YOU are playing it, but very stream-unfriendly. Meaning that if you watch any given segment of the game, it just doesn't catch your eye immediately.
Personally I'm buying it. I didn't see much, but hey. The guys deserve the benefit of the doubt, I believe.
