People always underestimate seeker missiles Oh, and be careful with the "Fire at will" setting on turrets. I had that set at a pirate-infested nav beacon and next thing I know the screen is lighting up with red triangles... Thankfully I survived that little mistake.

It doesn't target friendlies, but it does target any and all bad guys, and I prefer to take on one bad guy at a time

It's an excellent option for cargo hauling, because if I'm interdicted, then I want it to fire at any and every ship in that biker gang, because I'm sure all of them will be firing at me!

I'll make my first discover eventually. Apparently the same few people are going the route I'm going right now.

My first discovered-by was less than 1000ly out. Just adjust the height of the star plane and dip low and high. I reckon most people travel to the core through the middle. I went low

Made it to Colonia and 42M Cr as well, not sure if I am the first PS4 player out here but was one long trip, now on to Sag A* and then Beagle Point.

What ship did you fly out in? How many jumps?

I've just engineered my DBX and it has a 52.14 LY jump range - i'm tempted......

It was an Asp Explorer with a 48Ly jump range, set off yesterday morning and made it there this afternoon but I didn't use the Neutron Highway so not sure on how many jumps it took.

What's there to see IN Colonia? I ask since PS4 players don't instance with other platforms, so I'm guessing it's a "ghost town" for us on the PS4. Or are there NPCs there?

There are NPC's and stations plus lots of Nebulae to visit, it's also the second populated bubble.
