Therefore all PP related actions should be only available in Online only mode.
What do you think? :D

I think I would be very annoyed that I was sold a game you told me I could play my way and then you decided to withhold a substantial amount of content from me.

What a load of tosh.

Tweaking how fast people level up is not changing the core game. It is still go kill X and come back, go kill another X and come back.
They also have not removed PvE or PvP from the game, and have not touched the networking model at all.

WOW today, is still WOW from 10 years ago, with more content and leveling tweaks to get you to 100 faster.

You dont get it. WoW developed from a pure PvE&grind game with some openPvP (if you can find someone) to a casual-friendly game with equal amount of PvP and PvE, balanced around your "skill" as far as it can be balanced in a complex game like this.
They changed the networking model, allowing people from different servers to play together, it was not possible for years and people were stuck on the server with an option to pay a ton of money for a transfer. Now you can sit on an empty server, enjoy your lag-free capital city and other benefits of NOT having people everywhere you go, but you can still enjoy most of the multiplayer content with other people.
And they ADDED some content, not removed it. I dont ask here for removing content that i dont like, i ask for pushing more content and pushing the multiplayer interaction.

Think about how old WoW is, its just a matter of time till people will leave it. It looks outdated (even with all the effort Blizzard put into it, its not possible to improve the look of the game to meet the current tripleA titles) and after all the years people move on. Its from 2004, 11 years.
And WoW has changed so hard, it is a completly different game compared to what WoW Classic was on release.

And i still hope that FD will think about it and actually make a good MMO out of Elite, specially because they already decided to make it a multiplayer-game and changed the original style of the game.
Maybe not tomorrow, but in 1 year or so.
But if we stop talking about it, it will never happen, because the developer cant do anything without proper feedback.

ED is not the old Elite anymore, times change, the gaming world changes really fast. Something that would be great 20-30 years ago, is boring in 2015. Expectations change with new ways to play games. Massive multiplayer was not possible back then...

Like i said, i know that games change, pretty hard, sometimes its 180° change and will drive some of the old customers away.

I think what you mean is games EVOLVE. They don’t fundamentally change their core principles. And they certainly don’t change their core principles after being successfully crowd funded on them. And they don’t substantially change those principles 6 months after release. And they don’t substantially change them while the game is doing well.

If the game was so badly designed, no one would invested during the kickstarter campaign. No one would be buying it now and reviews would be terrible. Clearly NONE of those are true. FD are not idiots, they are not going to alienate a large percentage of their customers just because you didn’t research before you bought and want it to change.

And as you can see, i`m not the only one complaining about p2p, so our only chance is to keep the theme up and show that there is a point behind our request. It will improve multiplayer expirience, solo players would not notice any changes.

Yes some people don’t like the design. But that was what the pitched, that was what was funded and that’s what we have.

I like this game, but there is not much to do in the late state (when you got enough money for your ships and rebuy) and we have to do something to make it better.

I beg to differ. If you liked the game you’d be playing it not constantly trying to change it

I dont like dropping games, specially the expensive ones (and ED was expensive, compared to anything that i paid for in the last 2 years - mostly because i stopped preordering and day 1 shopping and now i wait for sales and patches - so i get a working game with a nice price tag).

I don’t like dropping games either. I bought Bloodborne despite knowing how hard it was. The reviews told it me it was hard. I watched Twitch streams and players told me it was hard. My friends on Facebook complained it was hard. I ignored them all. You know what? I hated it. £50 down the drain for a game that was too damn hard. But... I didn’t join the community moaning at the developer demanding an easy mode because I ignored them.

Research is a wonderful thing, if you chose to ignore it (assuming you did any) you only have yourself to blame.

So aye, building on me tinking - I n I be wanting to see more player-triggered NPC populated events that be implemented across all modes o play.

Examples:
- Hiring NPC Bounty Hunters. That way they can chase ya where ever you be! (Problem? You hire and someone in other mode take dem out? Perhaps triggered event?)

- NPC blockades. Could be pirates. Could be protestors (SAY NO TO PROGİNATOR CELLS!) Could local system raising funds thru toll.)

- Tipping off system authorities to be keeping an eye for ya, maybe even for a possible reward (snitch mon!)

- Option of triggering embargo on certain goods. An ickle like blockade but wid no violence (but now option for smuggling!). Example: blocking sales of fuel, marine equipment etc

An other tings you imagine. At mo, PP interaction wid players smacks of passive aggression - indirect hostiliity/conflict. I n I be wanting more ways of influencing play across modes, through player actions and NPC agents.

That sounds like a change to the equivalent of the matchmaking system in E: D (to allow players to move to other servers) rather than changing the underlying network model - basically, it was a settings tweak....

Talk about distorting the facts.

WOW had PvE and PvP servers from the start, it still has that setup today (I literally just asked someone who still plays). So nothing has changed there.
WOW has not changed any "core" gameplay or concepts since it came out - it is still the same style missions over and over, all they did was change the look of the landscape.

The cross server linking was mainly for the PvP battles, due to having way too many servers and PvP players spread out too thin (sound familiar: 400 Billion Star systems spreads folks out).
It's not as if they gave you free movement over the servers (they have always charged for that - which also shows all the servers have always been interchangeable so it is not new or game changing).

You keep spouting things as facts, when you have nothing whatsoever to back up your claims or your excuses for FD to listen to you - which they won't.

One that was always there from the off, so not added or changed after the fact as he'd have you believe.

Solo must be deleted from the game!

So PowerPlay is here. And a lot of solo players make their power missions in solo! I can't defend system of my Power, because they are trucking their trash in solo play  Yes I know, I can do missions of my Power to defend system, but it's missions of courier. Then I want kill anyone who is try to grab systems of my Power  It's wrong FD, SOLO PLAY must be deleted from the game!

That would be pretty audacious move, since the original Kickstarter stated that there will be Solo mode with offline mode that was later removed for technical reasons.

Now, I could see benefit of having separate worlds running for Open and one for Solo/Group modes. But that´s not really anything I have control over. :) Plus with P2P networking, people could still play alone in Open world instance with little bit of technical trickery.

Solo exists. It will continue to exist. FD has been quite clear on this.

Also, undermining/opposition missions are always combat or piracy. Nobody can affect systems which belong to your Power already by "trucking trash".
