Can you ever post without being egotistical? Do you even read why people play the game? You have this certain view about the game and apparently cannot waiver from it.
1. It is not about "making yourself better" it is about playing a game. How is someone in a starter sidewinder getting blown to heck by some jerk in a anaconda getting beaten by someone better or luckier than them. All that is going to do is push them out of open and into other modes. Jerks are NOT a "RISK" but an anoyment. They don't make open harder just un-enjoyable.
2. THis is NOT EVE in a cockpit no matter how much people like you want it. Why should people play a game When they are constantly having to worry about jerks. There have been plenty of people who have said NO. Jerks don't make the game better they make it worse, yet you can't see that.. you view everything from a PVP lens that suits you and ignoring other views.
3. No one is calling for open to be crippled so not even sure where your comment comes from.. and the jerks are not a positive move forward for the game or the community.
4. The "Special NPC's" of special solo could be AI's as impossible as SJ can make them so that the jerks who keep running people off have something to play with that suits their egos.

ever have a slug burger?
As always mouse, you are also blinded by your PVP hatred and missed the entire essence of that post.
Maybe go back and find the context in which it was written.
So if you can call PVP players Jerks, what can I refer to non PVP players in that wont have you running to report my posts?
So you don't play games to get better??
Really? So you are still in your Sidewinder with class E modules? Surely you must be?
So you are not a better player even if your little gated community than you were the day you started? Still in Eravate?
No, you Will and Have improved!
IF you had played against harder targets, you would have improved faster and be a better player even if you DIDN'T want to get better.
( Which is a little weird, if you don't want to improve yourself )
I 100% bet that you couldn't kill me If you were in an A Rated Conda and I was in a standard Sidewinder.
Why because I would have seen you coming a mile off, because I learnt in Open what to look for.
Because words seem to escape you, I will elaborate slightly
Some times you will lose!
Losing is good!
You learn from it.
Next time you will do something different to stop the same thing happening again.
That is improving.
You should try it, Upgrade that Sidewinder and see what else you can get better at.
Maybe reading posts before the one you reference so that it isn't taken out of context. There is a great skill.
