Hey all, no updates this week.

But listen up you birdbrains, over HALF of you who participated in this thing of ours voted for the kiwi and can substitute it with, along with the little blue, for a new vote for another bird, so GET ON IT ALREADY.

Anyway, weekly community poll, they can't really fly, they're not that smart, but by God, we love them, what some of your favorite landfowl?

For me, quite a few are this picture including the Wild Turkey, Helmeted Guineafowl, Junglefowl (we stan Hei Hei) and our non-stop breeding, non-stop pooping, constantly getting sent to quarantine king, the Indian Peafowl.

I had some of them, not much, but at least some

Firstly, the California Quail, I love that little thingy on it's head! And it's cute face, and it's beautiful colouration. I love everything of this cute little fellah.

Next we have the Terrestrial Black Fowl, a bird that is kept on my local zoo, I find them very unique with that giant pear!

Another colourful buds, this come in group. The Edward's, Golden and the Lady Amherst Pheasants. I love pheasants, they're perfect for every tiny Asian build, and this 3 are just perfect!

Another classic, the Great Curassow. I think everything of this bird was said, so nothing important to add!

And finally, the Helmeted Guineafowl. Another classic, perfect for almost every African section!

Indian Peafowl and Wild Turkeys can fly pretty well though
Domesticated Turkeys can't though.
Would definitely love to see Red or Green Junglefowl in the Game

I think my favourite landfowl is the crested wood partridge - love the little troll-doll looking males and the females are really pretty as well. As for ones I'd want most in Planet Zoo, the ocellated turkey is absolutely my top choice; they are definitely big enough to work in-game, would add a welcome Central American species and look absolutely stunning.

3. Golden Pheasant for Asia
4. Guineafowl for Africa

I think a wild/domestic turkey would be a great habitat bird option to cover a massive range in NA, spanning the USA, Mexico, and Canada. They are iconic and very culturally significant. The wild ones look similar to the domestics; either would be fine with me. Turkeys, especially domestics, are terrible fliers, so they would make sense in habitats.
Helmeted guineafowl and red junglefowl/domestic chickens are also important for domestic sections of zoos. I would welcome both.
I'm glad the Indian peafowl is in the game and would not be opposed to the green peafowl, but it isn't as high-priority as some other options. I think the golden pheasant and at least one other contrasting Asian pheasant (Lady Amherst's and Silver are good and popular) are pretty essential. While they are flighted and typically kept indoors, I could see them working as either a habitat or WE animal. The colorful Asian pheasants are probably my favorite, but turkeys are also pretty funny.

Well in my neck of the woods in New York, we had severe flash flooding so let's just say the sea lions at the Central Park Zoo got a surprise exhibit expansion:

Anyway, this got me thinking, weekly community poll, what are your favorite water birds? Sea, marsh, wading, whatever you like. BUT, since I feel they'll dominate the replies, no penguins or my beloved waterfowl.

For me, favorites include the Atlantic puffin, scarlet ibis, roseate spoonbill, and ofc our in-game, zoo entrance champ, flamingos.

Roseate Spoonbill lover here. Also scarlet Ibises and Puffins are among my favourites, but the spoonbilly has to be my favourite
