Greetings Xbox Commanders,
The United Systems Colonial Marines (Also known as the United System Colonial Marine Corps), a relatively new Squadron, is looking for new recruits to fill our ranks. We're a laid-back group of talented individuals who enjoy playing Elite: Dangerous with others, setting up wings and dropping into res and hazard zones. We have a goal of at least 10-20 active members, as we intend to start a Player Group and push through to a Player Minor Faction.
We are open to all types of players: experienced, newbie (we will show you the ropes and help you become the best Commander and Marine you can be); dedicated or casual. We ask that you be relatively active but real life always comes first, and we completely understand that sentiment. There will be no need to request "leaves of absence" or anything of the sort, you play when you can!
The Corps dabbles into a bit of each economical sector and if you need assistance with tasks, feel free to ask. We intend to create a welcoming and helpful overall atmosphere for the group. Whatever you enjoy doing, whether it's combat (human or thargoid), exploring, supporting factions, humanitarian aid (this will eventually be a large sector for us), piracy, trading and mining, power play, we hope to create a group where all you have to do is ask and you'll have another Marine ready to assist you.
Here is the information:
XB GamerTag: Sgt Dartez
Squadron Name: United Systems Colonial Marines
Squadron Designation: USCM
Our options of which system to call home (if we get a choice in creating the faction) are still being evaluated. The Colonial Marine Corps is for commanders with integrity, respect, and honor. We support each other in our endeavors and provide a lending hand wherever we can.
While we primarily support the Empire, we may deviate from that support in certain instances as needed. The Corps does not intend to choose a power play option until we have developed a strong relationship with the minor and super faction we end up integrating with.
We ask that if you submit an application that you intend to be relatively active, and absolutely be respectful, courteous, and helpful to the other members. This is a judgement free squadron, we have zero tolerance for discrimination and toxic behavior. New commanders and experienced commanders are both welcome, we will happily help out new players. A full set of rules and other informational collections will be coming soon.
The Corps has some enormous goals in mind, but if we work together, we can stand up a Colonial Marine Corps that we can all be proud of. Colonial Marines that can be depended on no matter what.
More information will be posted here as it becomes available: https://inara.cz/squadron/8105/
The USS Legacy (JLX-33M) has been christened and is ready to support the squadron and LTD mining operations out in the Col 285 sector. It is set up at Col 285 Sector BC-K a38-0, right next to Col 285 Sector CC-K a38-2 (one jump away).
Join us, become a Colonial Marine and see the universe. Let's fight the good fight. o7
Thanks for reading,
