I got a pretty good ending actually. Didn't turn up that great for Velen but I didn't care much about the damned place anyway. Skellige flourished and Geralt lived happily ever after with Yennefer.
God dammit, I spend so many hours in this game but I still hear stuff like this I never seen ^^I took another random quest in Witcher 3 - ended up with Geralt being so high on mushrooms he started to understand his horse... then we both went on solving monster cases haha I love this game so much!

Wow. Thought I'd seen them all with nearly 400 hours in that amazing game. This is a new one on me. Sounds like a lot of fun that one.

Yes. I only recently uninstalled the game and it was with a real heavy heart.
The game does have downsides mainly in the combat side really - for me the levelling of various powers never felt terribly satisfying there wasn't really moments where I'd level some power up and "feel" more powerful if that makes sense. It was all very subtle with numbers changing in the background but little impact on the gameplay. Many games do this very well to give the player that tactile feedback that their choices in levelling make a difference.
Dunno it's a minor point above because like we all say here...everything else in the game is so above the industry standard that it really does make it hard to play the "industry standard" games without drawing comparisons to Witcher 3.
The quest writing is incredibly good.
The dialogue is relevant and perfectly fits the universe without feeling contrived.
The voice acting is the best I've seen in any game let alone one as large as this one.
The graphics are eye wateringly good and the whole setting lends itself perfectly to this.
They created an open world game that felt NATURAL. No one does this properly other than these guys.
.....
I could go on and on.
So much hope for their next projects especially cyberpunk 2077. Really need to see some more on that one soon.
The quest is found near the northern border at a hut near the river. It was real fun.
Have you played the one with the bank and the statue "assets" missing one? Hilarious!
I played that one but annoyingly I had to rush through it cos the missus was on my case about coming off and doing something rubbish instead like DIY.

I couldn't resist. I Googled a video of that horse/mushroom quest. I definitely haven't played it so only watched a little. Funny as hell what I saw.
Geralt: when I whistle you appear out nowhere..how's that work?
Roach: have to be there for my human!
Geralt: that's great but why do you get caught on little fences then?
Roach: we have limits.
Flippin love that the studio totally taking the peesh out of their game.
Witcher 3 is the special kind of thing that happens when the devs do their craft with total love for their work, without interference from publishers, and don't settle for doing "just a game". I had already loved Witcher 2 for the very same reasons I love W3, but W3 expanded on W2 by ten-fold. This game is such an absolute masterpiece that it has ruined gaming for me. All the other action/rpg games now seem so bland and poor.
After seeing Bethesda get sloppy and negligent with Fallout 4, and Bioware being just a warm distant memory, CD Projekt Red is currently my only hope in the genre for seeing delivering top-notch, instant-classic, masterpiece level material. Can't wait to see their current Cyberpunk project get released.
They have been very tight lipped about cyberpunk so far. Really hope we hear something soon about it. I'd love to see it release this year but it seems more likely to be into 2018 really.
