Nice selection in theory, i first gotta manage to build anything till the end of the month xdThere you go .. a nice selection to choose your best one for the challenge
Currently working on a remodel of my A zoo as those animals are taking up half my storage space rofl.
But, honestly have no clue how to make a habitat special for one animal in a zoo full of animals of the same type having the same items rofl.
Atleast till mid of next week im swamped in math and in general i got a bird house with no birds to build. Nothing more poetic about our bird roster then building a house, pretending it was a bird house in the past and filling it with bats, otters and babirusa
Coquerel's Sifaka and Kirk's Dik-Dik. Trust Me It Will Make Sense When I Showcase The Build. Primarily For The Sifaka, But A Part Of It They Share With Kirk's Dik-Dik. And Before Anyone Asks, It Is Not A Recreation Of Animal Junction From Zoboomafoo.
Okay, Anniversary Challenge finished so time to start the Zoolympics Challenge rofl.
Inspirational pictures ( googled Coquerel's Sifaka Natural Habitat ) to help me personalise the area provided for them in my Madasgar Zoo. Maybe they will help my fellow Sifaka builders rofl. Currently just have the player pathing around the habitat to give them as many viewpoints as possible - this will be my weirdest shaped habitat ever rofl.
It doesn't help that they aren't confident as I would have made this a walkthrough habitat but alas, neutral almost always mean shy. So one sided glass being used to keep their social up.

I have finally settled on a decision and started some of the prep work (sign-making mainly). Imma gonna do tortoise and it's her birthday.
I'm going to put her in my existing desert house, which isn't currently big enough, so I'm going to start again with a new desert dome built from scratch. It will have several habitats in it but the tortoise's birthday will be a specially showcased event. Jelly cake all round!

Well, think I have done all I can barring removing tall trees if they use them to escape or adding more low level foliage.
So far disappointed in none of them using the mesh side of the barriers I created to climb up or the fact there can only be 6 adults in the habitat. When I move them or their descendants to their permanent home ( C Zoo ) I'll probably just make a long thinnish habitat so they can do their skipping animation and enough space for a climbing frame or two.
Without giving too much away too soon, here's one of my favourite screenshots.

I think I have to start over again. I completely ignored the last part of the sentence. My topic doesn't fit at all now.
Why, what do you think needs to change? The second part of the brief is just flavour really, there are many ways to interpret it. It could be as simple as adding a custom sign or special custom enrichment for the animal that the zookeeper made specially for them, or a very cosy nest or shelter...just throwing out a few ideas.I think I have to start over again. Ah that's fun! But you could make up a story where it was a stray then became a favourite of the zookeeper who started feeding and making special toys for them? Its all in the telling of the story here I think!

I'm not even sure if my one is special as such .. just the case that I gave them their own habitat than sharing with the lemurs ( like I would usually do and will do when this is over rofl )I think I have to start over again. Would Having A Building With Coquerel's Sifaka and Kirk's Dik-dik Having One Habitat And Having Fossa In Another The Focus Is Still Mainly On The Sifakas Of Course, They Can Access The Two Aviaries Not Directly Connected To The Building.
