Too Many Repeated Interdictions and Escape Vectors DON'T Work...?

Iv yet to see this in my game. I still think that it depends on how you play the game determines the game mechanics of interdictions....

Im more of a cautious player, I play mostly in Solo mode, I won't get involved in the PP 'Pledging side' of Elite.
I dont like doing pewpew so Iv got a low combat rank of Mostly Harmless (would still be Harmless but for shooting at Rocks & Skimmers on Planetary Landings).
When in civvy space Im in my armed Python & I only trade in the legal stuff & Im careful about what missions I take on - mostly just safe Hauling & Courier missions.

When I do get dicted I play the minigame 100% of the time, I never 'submit & run' - as suggested in another post, this only allows your perpetrator to chase & dict you again. I win the minigame well into the 90%s of the time & dont have issues finding the vector & keeping it lined up - I notice that it doesn't need to be lined centrally, just close!

Should I lose, I just boost x4-5 & Im gone & back into SC - Iv yet to experience any multi dictions in my gameplay.

Yes! it is more difficult than what it has been in previous patches & versions but to me atm its manageable & not the horror story that others seem to be seeing.

Yeah I agree. 5 interdictions today and I won 4. I don't see the issue. You need fine control to beat them.

I have an A-rated asp. No dice.

I was last unwinnably interdicted by an adder. I keep the circle, not the bigger outer circles mind you, the small white inner circle in the blue...nothing. Before the patch, I got to the point where I would win interdictions 95% of the time. Now? 5% of the time.

I felt the interdiction was the equivelant of getting a stone in your shoe while jogging. **** happens but when it does on such a high rate it goes tedium deluxe. I Toned it down by skipping PowerPlay. It is a cool mechanic albeit overused.

But I just had an interdiction where I kept my target circle in the escape vector for 90% of the interdiction at full throttle. "Hunh" I thought to myself. The blue bar isnt going up. That's....very strange. I slip out of the circle for a few seconds but not wildly off the vector after several minutes of fighting, the AI decided it had had enough. Nearly instantly the red bar filled up. BAM interdicted.
THAT is a bug. I have had this a couple of times. Now I'm in a T6, but it's a bug when you are able to keep the vector lined up and you still lose. If I'm not supposed to be able to do it in a T6, then make the freaking vector jump around too much for me, but quit with the cheating.

If it's networking issues, can FD please find some way to make the mini-game more robust against lag (or even the whole game if you can manage it ;) ). I can understand sometimes PvP interdictions being more susceptible to lag, but from NPCs this should never happen. Don't care if it wasn't your own computer handling the NPC or not, it should be handed off to the target's PC the moment it starts approaching/lining up for an interdiction.

If it's just a bug, well you know what to do!

even if i stay 100% in the vector after an X amount of time enemy fills it up OR if i'm interdicting the same can happen,
basically it's B R O K E N
same bug

Seen it, too. Evade vector dead center in front of me. Yet the other guy behind me gets his bar raised.
And no - my alignment was cool, I didn't get that weird stretched out circle/ellipsoid.
Though mostly I have the skills to avoid being interdicted. At least by NPCs that is.
hmm...yup, same bug

When interdicting targets I can have the target sitting nicely in the middle and my bar just sits there, or even decreases, when it should be climbing steadily - I can only assume what I am seeing (target nicely centred) is different to what the server thinks is happening...

...
4. Doing nothing and winning interdiction. Doing everything and losing interdiction.

I've seen my blue bar rise when way off the vector, and fall like a stone when on the vector, and every 'interdiction avoided' has surprised me, seeming to happen independent of what was going on on screen.

I was last unwinnably interdicted by an adder. I keep the circle, not the bigger outer circles mind you, the small white inner circle in the blue...nothing. Before the patch, I got to the point where I would win interdictions 95% of the time. Now? 5% of the time.
1 2 3 4, yep all more examples of said bug.

Evidence is in. There is a bug
If interdiction is supposed to be harder that's fine. No cheating though.

I consider the interdiction mini game wasted programming, I've had the evade target jump from one spot to another, I've sat back took my hands off the controls and beaten it, to me it seems no matter how much effort you put into it, it's a 50/50 chance, most here know the Vulture is one of the best for maneuvering, yet I get the same odds when piloting an Asp Explorer loaded down with cargo, it just seems to me the programmer couldn't come up with an elegant solution for balance but instead went for random 50/50 chance.
