Well, at any rate, all I'm saying is, don't really agree with the tactics, but whatever. I no more control Frontier or Universal than they control a rival studio (can't really think of a good example). I think this thread needs to close out. Wasn't trying to provoke any arguments. Perhaps I should merely have asked the question of what species could be added to rather sparse digsites in the future. Is that perhaps a more discussion-worthy question?
What exactly is so controversial about there being a JWFK DLC? It will most likely be free. Even if it's not it won't cost that much. It's not like they are advertising the Dinosaurs in the game and saying they will only be available as DLC.
Look, I'm done talking about it. You want to disagree with me on it, fine. You want to wait for content that should be in day 1, fine. That's your business. Point is, I'm done talking about it. And for the record, I never said it was controversial. I said it was ridiculous, stupid, and would just create more work for Frontier than necessary. And frankly, I'm sure I'm not the only one with that opinion. You act like its a mortal sin to disagree with you. I say otherwise. I never opened up this thread so that it would devolve into a shouting match between two parties and create a lot of hurt feelings, accusations, and in-fighting. All I said was that I don't agree with the patch, if it is being done. That is hardly grounds for trying to shove the idea like it's fact down other people's throats. I'm done talking about it. End of discussion about it. Over and done. That was not supposed to be the topic of the thread anyway as I have said repeatedly numerous times already. In other words, answer the question posed or don't answer at all. It makes no difference to me.
