Got this one while connecting to EDMC at a station:

I'm either trading or I'm exploring :) Doing one will be to the detriment of the other.

Outfitting.db is 303MB and Prices.db is 110MB. Not really noticed any lag, but then again I don't really know how quick the mod can be.

Version [1.6.7.7] released

Changelog:
- Fixed an error when storing new outfitting types.
- Fixed an issue with the Minimap showing up where it should stay hidden.
- Fixed a small display issue at the Navigation panel.
- Fixed an issue when modifing a market/location, some positional data got fliped, so TCE can't find them at the actual position.

Notes:
Either download the version above, install and transfer your old database, or use the auto-update function of the launcher.
Click the 'new version' notice at the bottom of the launcher.

If you find an error, please report and use the Report a Bug button at the launcher and don't forget to copy the error details and ErrorReportFile.7z archive.

I like to remind any user, who wants to use TCE in french, spanish or russian to help in translating the
latest interface, common and rare commodities phrases at OneSky. Thanks in advance.

Question Really, after pressing launch, is there a reason there is no progress bar on loading anymore, but when I highlight over the icon in the task bar I can see it build it up to 100% before the windows come up.

It is there for me, perhaps you accidentally clicked away and made it disappear?

Hi Eventure,
I am glad to see you are back and hopefully feeling better again.
I do have a question. How long should an update via the update function of TCE take? I tried it several times before, but always stopped it before it finished, because it seemed to take forever.
It says: Downloading new version - please wait. And the green bar is up to about 70%. There it stays and nothing moves anymore.

Any help is appreciated

Your Windows seems to block TCE, accessing the global Temp folder, which is usually at your C-drive.
Give TCE admin access and try it again.

For me, the green bar will hang at 60%. There will be a tab on the windows taskbar (bottom of windows) that will say something like 'TCE Request'. Clicking on it will expose a small window that got hidden about 'processing logs' or something; just click 'yes'.
This may not be the solution you need, but it's a sneaky gotchya that I finally trained myself to look for as I always overlooked it.

He refers to the download bar at the launcher, not the loading bar after you have clicked the LAUNCH button.

Hi Eventure,
you were right with the TMP archive. After I moved it from C to my D drive this worked, but then my antivirus program complained and put the TCE update file in quarantine. So I had to disable the heuristic search on that before it would let the update go through.

This is just to let you know. I am fine now.

Thank you for your help and also for your ongoing efforts to make TCE better all the time.

I really appreciate what you are doing here.

Thereafter, start ED once before TCE to bypass the issue.

@If it continous to happen, please do run the ED Auto-Detection at the launcher (settings tab).



Tried my best at all your requests. Just did auto-detection and still have the same results.

Mail sent to you, please install the lastest version of TCE (into a new folder) and transfer thereafter your data from your old version to the new. Fun back!

Your used version is more than 5 months old, so much has changed since, in ED and TCE.

Oh boy Eventure - smile has faded a bit. Sorry but TCE update did load and launched. But now out in the void I can't ad new markets! I can get all red indicated blocks to turn green (except sector ID - don't know what or where to find) but all other info I was able to enter and everything turned green. The red save button appeared - but when pressed all the info wouldn't save. The market remained unregistered - and I'm working a market sector that I can earn upwards to 20 - 25 mil cr per 1 to 2 hours of hopping around! I really need to register these new ones.

HELP! What am I doing wrong. What other info you need?

Ok I just went in and checked info on market that didn't save. Well each failed attempt does show up in system - so there are now 4 listings of the same market and none have any data.

Aren't you glad I got your app huh? lol

I have updated the wiki for the new Database panel, take a look: http://trade-computer-extension-mkii.wikia.com/wiki/Database_panels

You don't have to add new markets yourself, this is all done now automatically upon approach and docking.

Did you transferred the markets from your old installation into the new?
If you haven't, go to the Launcher > Database, click the TRANSFER button and select the folder of your outdated version. Click OK and you will see, TCE is checking the databases from your old version.
When done, click the START TRANSFER button and TCE will do the rest for you. When finished, it is wise to VERIFY your transferred database. If TCE finds any error, REPAIR it after the verify ends.
When done, verify the problematic database again, if all shows greens, you are ready to launch with the data, you have gathered before.

Well just flew into another new market and it didn't update. I got the red colored click to add location. Why does that show up?

I enter all the info again and click save and the "click to ad location" still there. So what I think you are telling me happens doesn't.

I did all that transfer verify the first time and it seemed to have worked fine. The first click to ad location station was there and registered. But this next one still remains unregistered and still flashing red click to ad location.
