Very nice video. No need to change the video I thought it was pitch perfect and Lol'd several times. Hopefully Frontier patches the game so it becomes true again.

So does anyone knows if Exquisite Focus Crystals are back? Has anyone seen missions giving it as a reward?

I did some missions yesterday with EFC as a reward. Location was Maia.
Also, the spawn rate of other mats than biotech conductors seems to work again, found Imperial Shielding already.
I managed to get 3 of them in a single Data Point scan with my SRV in a settlement last week. Couldn't get more though but I can confirm it's still in the game.

You get MEF by scanning all data beacons at a Medium or High Security planetary base.

And as far as I understand it, there is a description in this thread to scan these medium settlements without firing a single shot. Just a little SRV dancing needed.
Alternatively, you can go for Encoded SSs, they can spawn satellites which give you MEF too. Look for them close to ELWs. Of course the populated ones.
I don't think I've ever seen one of those. I've only ever raided two bases in my entire career. Are they defenseless?

So this thread seems to imply that Exquisite Focus Crystals are difficult to get.
So I am the only one being offered Exquisite Focus Crystals on pretty much every mission since the latest patch - these or Biotech Conductors.
As these are both listed as very rare - it seems broken to me?

2.2.03 may have been the mother of all disappointments when it came to the hit point inflation rebalance ... but if it's also introduced hyper-inflation of EFC spawn, perhaps it's not so bad after all...

It was bugged.
Finally now they are more available.
I had collected 5 since the engineers update..yesterday i got thirteen over a period of 2 hours.
Not broken...working as intended

Strictly speaking, it's more like we had a little rain, then a drought ... now a deluge.
Basically in 2.1 EFC existed but were ultra-rare.
Then in 2.2. they ceased to exist, prompting endless bug reports and ultimately confirmation from Frontier Support that they had left the game.
Now it appears that in 2.2.03 the heavens have opened and we have not just restored EFC spawn ... but EFC spawn at almost 10x the 2.1 levels.
If that is truly so (I'm out of game for a couple of days) all I can say is ...
