The Money Matters news feed has reported that the market value of the mysterious unknown artefacts has dramatically increased. The report neglects to include specific figures, citing the "fluctuating nature" of the market, but does imply that the trade price has seen a significant upswing. According to Money Matters correspondent Roberta Unwin:

"The market value of a commodity can increase over time, of course, but dramatic spikes of this sort tend not to happen without a catalyst. Evidently, someone is paying a great deal for these objects. The question is: who?"

I guess this means that UAs are going to infect a vast region of space (with help of NPC traders and greedy players :D)
2.0 is coming...

Naaaah, it's not a hint, IMHO.
It's known that MB is a Cthulhu fan, so it's a very valuable gift instead.
BTW, being him a huge fan could imply that FD created some Cthulhu similar lore for the UA mystery...

It's interesting news. Last time I sold an UA it was the usual 150K.
It could be worth a try to sell it again, to see if something changed in the price... in 1.4 I mean...

Anyone remember the golden eggs from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and that when you solved the clue inside them it lead to what the next challenge was? Perhaps we're facing something similar? First we discovered the morse emissions. Then after the morse emissions we discovered the ship drawing which in turn lead to MB sending MJK a bit of Cthulhu artwork. Cthulhu was a sea god. And the sea is beneath the ground. The new crater at Soontill may be a hint at where to go - we need to go deeper. What do you find when you go deeper? The core. CORE DYNAMICS. *cue x-files theme and "cor dynamix is iluminate"*

Is the Federation behind all this and is secretly cooperating with the Empire to cover it all up in fear of mass panic? Do they know where the Thargoids are?

You say sea underground? I say Europa... which incidentally is the template they used for that quick screenshot of the development journal on Horizons... and later we saw a misty crater during a sneak peek...

if you like concatenating clues go with this.

Bad things happen when the real names of the Great Old Ones are invoked. It might be necessary to implement CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN protocols if this keeps up.

Does Pluto have atmosphere in game?.

I know they added features after the nasa mission,wondering if it's a landing possibility,can't check as stuck at work.

After wikiing on cluthu thingies, found a nice extract.

An elongated, dark region along the equator of Pluto, initially referred to as "the Whale", was proposed to be named "Cthulhu Regio", after Lovecraft's fictional deity, by the NASA team responsible for the New Horizons probe.[18]

to be fair we have been de-orbiting space junk into the region of the arctic ocean where R'lyeh is alleged to be since the 60s.... so it was only a matter of time till one of them got antsy about the property damage.

Very nice find considering the UA's link with whales and Cthulhu :)

Has anyone sold one of these at one of the stations with a black market in Sol? That would be a good test to see if they are really causing station malfunctions.
