Can somebody please PM me the names of the griefers at maia, i'm docked at obsidian orbital and have a random friend request in game, just need to keep myself safe.
Be careful. Some people earlier in thread said that they were getting requests to team up and then they were attacked by their new "friend".

umm... you know how many craters there are in the Pleiades ? lol

It's a huge amount. However, relative to searching the entire surface area of all planets in the Pleiades nebula, narrowing it down to likely features and locations on planets, is considerably easier to search.

Craters specifically are the easiest to search.
Mark the centre with coordinates.
Assemble CMDRs around the ring (CMDRs needed depends on size), race down to the middle.
Avoid searching next crater if it's centre is close to the previous coordinates.

It's just pure and simple Turkey Shooting, nothing more.
They have fun like that.

They wish to conceal the power and salvation of the mighty Barnacle. In the end times the sky will be filled with the fires of blasphemy.

keep your heads high cmdrs.

Blessed be thy Barnacle.

"Thargoids are insectoid and if it is true that they come from ammonia-based planets, their physiology is dramatically different from humans. For example, ammonia boils at -33 degrees C. Thargoids may well be acclimatised to temperatures far lower than humans."

Maybe we should be looking on ice planets? At least keep an eye on the planets temperature...

Found my first UA and after looking at it for 10 mins I cant help but think its behaving like a mushroom releasing spores.

I thought that as well. Then I thought. You know what, they are honey pots. Irresistible poplars the we all can't resist to eat (place in our cargo holds). They shutdown stations making it easier to invade. The 'goids are coming!

Absolutely loving this turn in the ED story. This thread has been so much fun to follow. I must get back to my Plione exploration.

Right on cmdrs.

Thargoids: "...if it is true that they come from ammonia-based planets, their physiology is dramatically different from humans. For example, ammonia boils at -33 degrees C. Thargoids may well be acclimatised to temperatures far lower than humans."

hmmm...

Meta-alloys: "They are good thermal insulators, and have a high melting point"

Tin-hat time. The barnicles are mining stations set up to grow meta-alloys for ships and surface structure for Thargoid occupation and expansion. They're in the nebulae because they're hiding :)

Why it's always complaints and no action, there are hundreds of cmdrs in maia, cant you organize and stop the bloqueade?. And don't give the excuse of instances, because you can always form a wing and in the middle of the battle drop it and get and invite from another one, beacon down and Kaboom other wing join the fight, you can land and army on SDC, but you just talk and no action. I can help organize the assault team, any volunteer?

Hello commanders ! This is my first forum post, and it is for the barnacles research !
I was wondering, as we see them emitting a green light in the trailer, do you think that light could be seen if we look for it from our ship at 2km of altitude into the POI in the dark side of the planets ? It could be easier to find them like that, what do you think ?
