I still want to know how the Ranking up will change, when Missions 2.0 splits the Major Faction Rank from Minor Faction Missions. They never explained it as far as i know...

I guess I'm kinda new to this so I have some catching up to do, but I saw this thread earlier and happened to notice pic related while I was heading out to do some mining. It looks a helluva lot like that symbol on the barnacles. According to your map, it should be the Dumbbell Nebula, and isn't too far away from the Pleiades. Rotate it a bit down, and it would be an almost perfect match. Does it seem worth it to check out at all maybe?
I can't see difference... you may need some eye adjustments... Come with me I will fix you.

My phone screen is a bit dim, but I *think* that's a picture of Large Magellanic Cloud, which sits a long way outside the galaxy, and therefore isn't somewhere we can reach.
The similarity has been noted and debated so often now (not a criticism by the way) that you have to wonder whether it's deliberate or not...
If the wisdom of the crowd is right, then we have to ask 'why have a likeness of the LMC on the Barnacle, and how can we 'use' it?'

that *if* the barnacle layout is a chart, then flipping the overlay as if the galaxy is viewed from below is worth a try.

Starting with Lewis Carol and Anagram Puzzles. I think Drew is using Alliteration ( repeating of first letters and vowel harmony) as well as An Action Verb as a key (suggesting violence needs to be done to the associated words) The names of characters in the Galnet seem to be popular locations. EDIT - ACK The Memoria Technica Cipher is probably a good thing to check the text with if we are looking for coordinates !
Example:

Drew seems to be a fan of the double meaning (we need to read between the lines)

I think he was just trying to introduce the idea that messages will be encoded in things such as GalNet
Also: ROC could also be a hint at turning Right on C from the RR line to the CC line ....
