There's nothing wrong with letting civilian experts in to this rather then just let the federation deal with it. Independent verification will allow other perspectives to be incorporated, and not let the powers completely dictate how we interact with any future races.
The Canonn organisation is far more open then anything that the powers have let on so I see no problem supporting them.
But don't trust Jmanis, he's a terrorist that feeds ship melting artefacts to stations so they can die in the void of space.

I have been listening to this a few times now. It atually seem genuine to me. Not 100%, but fairly sure.
Is it a pointer to the new singing wrecks or has it something to do with the 'Silent song of the spheres'?
We better not brexecute the next UP with limpets. To many things to be tested.
I recomend just one or two commanders in the test instance. The rest of us will have to make do, with the videos.
The NPCs in the convoy carrying these things are talking about 'Orbital Tests'. I'd love to see what these things do if released during various phases of orbital entry onto a planet. But yes ... decoding the sound would be a good first step since we know that important data was hidden in the UA sounds.
Look to me like they shed their mechancal parts when they find a suitable mate.

Both files are unclear but I´m currently searching around a couple of leads.
I have wrapped my head around the "singing" part the entire night. I tried to search for a system in Galaxy Map (thinking it might be that obvious this time) but found nothing under "singing" "sign" and to much hits for "sigma". After that i listened to it under my headphones I got the feeling it could also be "Ziggy" (if that is actually a lead we need to talk to FD about humor; or maybe the UP is carrying David Bowie[wacky]).
However there is actually a system named "Ziggy" with a lot of named and 2mass systems around it roughly 800 ly from the bubble and I´m currently investigating the site. Most likely won´t be anything but hey exploring is fun.
The second "eden" sound file can mean anything from "eden" "e-2" "edene" (FED system; Hudson alinged) to "ED". The part with the cough could be anything or nothing and the last word might be "Burn" or something else. I could offer "McBURNey´s Point" 27 light years from "Ziggy" but I don´t want to guess anymore, it´s so unclear I could also be a computer blip error message or something. It would be great if we could clear these sound files of the noise.

Ok after being overseas for some time now im finally back to get online and explorr. Can somebody point me in a direction of where i should go on the hunt or where needs looked at thanks ��
I can confirm i also hear ziggy in that sound file. I have been to that area before a good while ago didnt find anythimg but looking back at it on galaxy map strangely i dont have system info on it anymore and i definitely scanned some of it

Consider dropping by Aries Dark Region GW-W D1-52 on the way out. UA spawns are quite good there. It's much easier testing it with a free floater, than an UA that degrades as well.
This thread is always TL;DR and moves so quick I can hardly keep up.....

I'm in Ross 47 now, I've dropped into several USSs (3x degraded emisions [Threat Level] TL0, 1 x convoy dispersal pattern TL4, 2 x Weapons fire detected TL3) and nothing...except some bounty kills - Fed activity is high (especially for a LowSec system), so it's obvious something is going on in that system.
