You've modded the game. Don't complain about QC.
If you took a £500 pair of designer black jeans and bleached them white, are they now inferior jeans or the same jeans, just white?
Altering the numbers for the colours in the UI is the least form of "modding" one can do, yet because the UI colours were arbitrarily chosen by FDev and they could just as easily have been white, or blue, or pink or magenta or taup, or teal, or crimson, or aubergine or, or, or, or..... it has NO IMPACT OR BEARING on how well the code was written, so your comment is little more than a standard "you broke it, not FDev" white knight defenders response.
So lets get down to the point shall we?
Why are only some of the UI elements controlled by that file? It's supposed to be a GLOBAL settings file, my only conclusion is someone at FDev either forgot to link it to the global settings file, or made that UI as a separate entity for no logical reason and it's just another case of bloatware.
People keep screaming about SC and the time it's taking, but this sort of issue highlights why building unified sections that link correctly and ensuring ONE global change filters down to EVERYTHING attached to it, instead of having to chase down all iterations like some manic pacman is a good thing.
