yup … after 6 years FD (i am a LEP holder) managed it for me not being able to play … mister d. braben … what is your feedback?!?

Same problem here.

In the last few years (since the very beginning from premier) i used the same ISP and had no problem. Even when we transferred to the Steam. But, after the last content patch in tuesday, i cant play anymore. Or, at least barely - fortunatly, I have two ISP service at my home (One, for my family and one for my work).

When i connect with the regular ISP (type: cable, ISP name: MVM NET (a country sized local ISP in central Europe, i used this in the beginning)), i get a "unable to initialise network, check..." error after i hit the play button in the launcher. I can play every mmo and other online games, except the Elite

When i switch to another ISP (type: wifi, ISP name: DIGI (a region sized ISP in middle Europe)) everything is fine, and i can play.

Firewall is okay, firewall/security system's exceptions are okay, my system is okay, everything works fine. Reinstalled the game, checked the files integrity from the launcher, then from Steam, tried to launch with the .exe, etc., nothing helps, only when i switch to another internet connection

(sorry for my bad english, tried my best)

Maybe this will help. I was able to enter the game through a phone on an LTE network using IPv6. By simply enabling support in your phone’s settings.

I use Google translator.

Same problem here. I can not access the game. Check your connection ..... bla blahhhh blahhhhh !!!
Firewall ? Protokoll check ?? Broken networkcard ??? Are they kidding ????
Would be nice FD to tell us what to do now, or if you know about this issue behind this !!! So i could be patient.

It seems that they are not very worried that someone will not be able to join the game for a week.
Probably, because of the anniversary, the whole team was given a vacation or something.
Otherwise, I can’t explain why, after 2 days, not even a single patch came out, nothing at all. And the bug mentioned here is not even confirmed by the team.

I have DIGI too which is ecellent in Hungary and the game is a no go for me. Maybe you have done something else to fix your problem,

Long shot... my connection was broken before the update, but today I managed to finally start the game by initially running standard ED, i.e. not Horizons. I then did a couple of missions, exited right out including the launcher box, then was able to restart and load up ED + Horizons version.

I tried an offered solution from Frontier, after my ticket. But no sigar.

ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset c:\ipreset.txt

What the heck can cause this kind of error, in so many different PC's?
