Largest ringed body - do we count stars with that? Cos I found a system with 3 in!

Here's an approach shot of the largest one

Ring system's about 4Ls across - not sure how you measure it so i just flew to the edge

Pretty awesome system. Class O main star with some close orbiting ringed planets

A quick few records:

Highest Surface Temperature for a planet: 32 MU SERPENTIS 2 with 17,941K
Heaviest Earth Like World: HIP 73439 16 with 24.5454 Earth Masses
Smallest world: BETA MUSCAE BC 5 C A with 247Km radius

All new entries and categories added to OP!

Found a system that ties Sol for most stations: ROSS 409

GKYYGnDl.jpg

Unfortunately Sol has better stations so it stays on the list, there are a few with 17 stations but sol only has 1 platform

Amazing system, largest ringed body is for planets only, largest ring or I could add largest ringed star would be for you
only problem is that size does not seem to be shown on system map did you scan star with detailed surface scanner?

Thank you sir! It's very close to VY Canis Majoris - Also worth Checking out Wezen (Delta Canis Majoris) which isn't too far away either.

Even though the second star is enormous, it is only 30 solar masses. I guess that's gravity for you!

Yeah I left as soon as I found a decent fuel scoop - didn't have the credits to get a DSS and I just couldn't wait. :D

I did find also a system with 17 stellar bodies - so tie for the current record. Completely mad system. lots of binary orbits.

I think it's time to head to Sol now. I've visited around 400 systems and I'm currently at VY canis majoris. So I've a fair trek ahead of me. Looking forward to seeing what else I stumble upon. :)

you get the record last record had brown dwarfs included, your system is much better

New "oldest star" record: COL 285 SECTOR EC-I B24-5 (16,705 million years)

sorry but ender posted a higher record a few posts before

If I missed anything get back to me

missed the new updates from this post Patau

Some more updates for categories .. back in Tellus now slowly selling stuff off but that suits me as I have to finish a thesis in RL and need a break from ED ;)

Coldest star: PRAEA EUQ FV-M A89-0 at 282K
Lightest star: PRAEA EUQ FV-M A89-0 at 0.0078 Solar Mass (not sure if this qualifies for the non-brown dwarf also)
Hottest non-neutron star: SHAPLEY 1 A at 154997K

Might also want to update the text at the top of the first post as it seems a bit dated talking about beta3.

Well I made it back to an inhabited system to sell me data and now I'm a 'trailblazer' :D

Relieved there's not going to be a wipe. I originally did the trip mainly because there might have been a wipe - so no point doing the usual trading etc but I'm glad there's not going to be one now because the wipe would have taken away the achievement of being out there on my own for all that time (over 500 systems visited)

I'm planning to head out again once I've fully kitted my ship out with a Class A fsd and DSS/ADS. The 500 systems of data netted me about 1.5mil Cr so I've a good float to start trading with :D

Check out Patau's other thread on rare comodities if you want to get a fully kitted ASP quickly ;)

Myself I'm at Pathfinder exploration rank now and 6mil CR profit from exploration so will try and keep my exploration profit above my trading profit :D

I'm stuck on trailblazer, haven't been able to sell any scan data for about a week.
I'm going to grind those rare goods for a bit seeing as there isn't going to be a wipe.
btw will add entries I missed when I get back from work

Bit confused, how come you've got P Puppis B listed as the closest Black Hole to Sol? According to the Galactic Map, P Puppis is 1200+Ly from Sol and only contains a single super giant.

If you checked my discovery post you would know that there are 2 P Puppis systems on the Galaxy Map and that I ticketed it. To find the closer one look at the pic in the post.

Hey Commanders! - Record for you - ACHANSA 7 - 11 Moons :) - Tried to look at the current record of 9 but no luck can't find it - is it correct?
