Should rename the "Earth-like world" planets to "water worlds" and we should add 2 new categories for "terraforming candidate" planets (these aren't just water worlds) and earth-like (terraformed).

Also the heavyiest earth like should be HIP 79439 16 not HIP 73439 16

No, earth-like worlds are still in game, and "water worlds" is a new type of planets.

Nice one! Rep given.
Thanks for rep :)

But I see something wrong with these old stars... These are older than universe, which age is less than 14 billion years :)

Estimations of the age of the Universe reach up to 21,000 mln years so I wouldn't say they are wrong, here.

New record: closest neutron star to a human station (station is better term for now, as we are not sure which planets are colonized) - Beta Sculptoris B to Fan Horizons at 3505 Ls! Almost closest one to Sol, too. For reference, it's the lightest one I've seen I think at 2.1523 solar masses.

BTW, we couldn't find class V Gas Giants and I see 4 here:

P Puppis is not the distance that is listed. Check ingame as im not at sol, im in empire which is closer to P Puppis and its showing over 1500LY..

Anyhow there is a Black hole at HD 64249 that is a couple hundred LY closer than P Puppis.

I realized it could be nice if we have a new position: closest space stations. I am not sure how close stations around Earth could be but taking under consideration different orbiting bodies it would probably be difficult to find closer pass than this:
UpUP8GI.jpg
Andoyer Station to Wan der Riet Woolley Ring at 3.08Mm and they could probably get even closer sometimes.

Is it a secret why you have not bothered to check previous posts, especially my discovery post? You could at least try to find it eg. by the closest to it human colony before coming with such superficial finds...

I think that Carazvan got a much hotter star (a Wolf-Rayet kind) than your HIP 35926 A. However, you apparently missed that your HIP 35926 A 12 is a heaviest non-gas giant planet found so far, if I'm not mistaken. Even though I probably spotted it first I'm happy to give you this record as you found the planet.

I was reviewing HIP 63835 (I use it as a jumping off point for my explorations) and noticed a planet had changed to another new type recently: Water Giant.

Well, new records :)

System with most stars: HIP 38716 with 18 stars: http://i.imgur.com/dJ03vlC.jpg
Body with highest surface pressure: HIP 35926 A 12 with 760 326 016 atmospheres: http://i.imgur.com/ovX0ihW.jpg
Body with highest surface temperature: HIP 35926 A 7 with 20926K: http://i.imgur.com/ool1V6M.jpg
Hottest non-neutron star: HIP 35926 A with 115828K: http://i.imgur.com/vqc0UEu.jpg
Oldest star: COL 132 SECTOR LR-H B12-0 A with 18431 million years: http://i.imgur.com/KJgnNX3.jpg

nice finds concolor! .. that high-pressure world especially ... it'll be interesting to see when they do planetary landings .... how that world will look haha

I'm currently finishing my thesis this week but then I'm 100% sure I'll post some records also ;) ... I'm within 1000LY of my current target and it's a doozie ... almost couldn't believe it when I saw it in the galaxy map ... what you might ask? ... patience shall be rewarded

On the topic of HIP 63835, I managed to scan the black holes there. HIP 63835 B in particular would have been very costly if the data hadn't sold for so much (lost 75% of my hull from heat damage). Since we don't seem to have Heaviest or Oldest black holes yet, I submit it as the current winner of both categories: 15.4961 solar masses and 251 million years.

How did you manage to fully scan HIP 63835 B? I couldn't get any closer to it than 2.03 Ls in reasonable time... Have they changed sensitivity of surface scanners, too? However, it definitely isn't the oldest because eg. P Puppis B has 615 mln years.

I think they did change the scanning range because I was able to scan a neutron star from ~5Ly away (as opposed to the usual ~0.15 LY you had to get before the last patch)

Rep given, h2bz, especially for the big one.

You meant Ls... so I have to find time to revisit HIP 63835 B, then :)

If youre expecting me to read through 15 pages of a thread for a few hours youre very much mistaken. If the list is supposed to be updated, then i was supplying info on a correction and addition. So there were no need to snoot down at me about it.

P Puppis is not 224.94 Ly from Sol. and i doubt its 32.88 LY from closest human colony, unless theres a colony far away from all other colonies.

You have time to write pointless posts and no time for using the search forum option? Such attitude is certainly not high especially taking under consideration that only a line below the data you contest you could see a way how to find it in-game.

Youre talking about the link to another thread (that i saw before i posted to this thread) that takes me to a pointless thread that links back here and to the HHGTE, where i went and asked questions that came up with zero results of an answer/reply.. Is that what you are riddling about?

Get a clue and some manners for crying out loud.

Edit: also why would i need to use the forum search to find the thread i already found?.. This thread!. Your assuming stuff that doesnt make sense and diverting from the info i supplied on a correction to the list. Something you feel hurt about cause its a find of yours thats incorrect.
