Hello thread.
Lots of interesting theories still going round and around, but don't forget the UA might not be the only story arc, and that the political assassinations, plagues and other Galnet stories, might have nothing whatsoever to do with it.
I mean it is obvious that halsey, the VP and the scientist were bumped off, and for fairly obvious reasons but that doesn't automatically mean that the UA must be involved.
Seems to me that we are so deprived of actual clues that everything is starting to look like one, and with a bit of confirmation bias sprinkled on top, we're just jumping to conclusions, which is different to following clues.
We'll see, within 24 hours you can all point and laugh at me, but my bet is that the UA won't even be mentioned tomorrow.

I don't think there will ever be a big reveal on it. They do have previous for that sort of thing... ;-)

My feeling is that ED's latest galnet post is saying - "hey guys - look at Sirius...." We've been told that there are clues on Galnet and Sirius is in there lots of times...might be worth going back over Galnet articles

Aye, the argument that Shaun being bumped off because he has something on who might have been involved in the loss of SS1 stands on its own.
Crow-baring the discovery of an "alien" artefact into the equation, where the only apparent link is that both events happened in the same 6 month period isn't making much sense to me at all.

That won't do us any good. I do hear there is a certain indigenous creature from Ceti Alpha 5 that just might do the trick.

Do we have transcripts, or a vid, of the conversations between ships that are found carrying the UA? The wiki has example comments, but a full account may shed more light maybe.

There could be a testable link to the UA and SiCorp... The colonised systems changed their names, right? What if the UA Morses the original name or the new one? If it taps out the original name, perhaps we can rule out a SiCorp connection? If it taps out the new one, it doesn't help (we don't know where its getting its data from)

On their sides are charge level indicators
When its ready to travel - the "Head' opens and releases a cloud of mixed matter and antimatter particles
These explode violently - google "project Orion"
The explosion accelerates the UA to the correct velocity and it enters the warp.
Imagine this happening in the docking bay of SS1
yes - I know - but I do like to find at least one new theory per day.....
