ok i have only been reading on this topic for a day or two now. i had a thought and through numerous searches and looking in the wiki i havent seen anyone suggest 20 SAP containers. the only reason i say 20 is that if the purrs reduce by 2 for 8 containers then for every 4 containers will reduce the purrs by 1. so if all the UAs have 5 then 20 containers would reduce the purrs to 0.

sorry if its already been suggested... i just couldnt find it anywhere.

OK,

Well just to say I cannot do Biscuit Barrel today as I am currently 2700LY from the bubble for science. =p

I drew a line through the bubble, HR1185, California Sector and extrapolated onwards, not much beyond but there *is* a nebula called "Trifid of the North" - so that's where I am. =p

If you look in the galaxy map, it is a nebula with a really isolated stretch of stars. (that are a pain to get to due to the gap surrounding)

I've done one deployment at the star right near the nebula but nothing. =(

Not sure where to go from here, anyone have any ideas? I can't see anything, maybe head to the Heart and Soul nebula but that's a long way, the Sirius stations (Sothis, check it out) seem to generally point to H&S but beyond that I don't see why the H&S nebula would be of any significance.

There's the mission Obfuscated in the Outer Rim which kind of implies something out here, but here is a big old place. =(

It would be a shame to just come back now, anyone have any good/crazy/whatever ideas?


As an aside got some footage of a couple of pretty mad experiments before I left, nothing earth-shattering ;-) but quite amusing and it does prove something (that's probably actually not very useful) cannot upload yet, trying to sort YouTube out.

I have seen nothing, but I'm really not in a position to hang around checking things out due to modules degrading, even spending time on the galaxy map is a risk. =(

There is no real evidence for anything out here is there? Only tenuous stuff like......

Extrapolate from Sol => HR 1185 => California Nebula => ???????
The Sothis & Ceos stations "leading" towards Heart and Soul Nebula (and anything in between).

No, nothing to add right now. But based on the Wings trailer, if there is a source from which they come or being picked up by the military, it should be further out than the Pleiades.

Sorry if someone already asked this but did anyone already take a look at the Orion Nebula? It looks quite strange there on the galactical map. Maybe there is something.

what do you mean with quite strange? yes there are a lot of k and m stars, 1 neutron (2nd to a star) but nothing else worth mentioning.

Any way, i was just looking at the dark wheel logo and was wondering... could there be a hint hidden in here? I'm not sure who designed it, so it may be nothing.

Yup there is a lot of symbolism in it:

Outer Ring is a dragon or snake,
he seem to hold 3 "pearls on a string", maybe Orion? (Symbol for Ascensions?)
The center seems to be an elite symbol, below the center in the lower section is
a stick figure (man) standing over a house, hands up to the stars, spreading his wings.

Just my interpretation;)

I named my Imp. Courier "Icarus" yet never saw an UA,
now i switched to an Asp, exploring and striving to get my hands on one of those
precious artifacts, yet the "Dreamcatcher" still has to find the dream first...

The outer ring is the classic Ouroboros or "serpent that perpetually consumes itself"

I think the Circles may be orion as you said, that pretty classic symbolism especially when its related to astronomy.

Elite symbol is obviously elite symbol

the term "dark wheel" can mean the "Dark wheel of time" which is also what the Ouroborus could be interpreted as.

I just wish I knew who made it, and whether or not its official.

I'm still convinced the the solution is in the UA sound. Something that we did not spotted, or that we spotted without understanding. The UA bg noise morse (VID 8), for example, that perhaps is not morse at all, but it hides some other code instead...
Then no one took an UA to the MOON, and no one ever listened to it from an ORCA. For how much silly it could seem, was never done despite being the easiest test in the galaxy.

Interestingly, the Europa recording had a large number of Green:purple flashes (yes, I'm the fool who hasn't given up on that) - 16g:8p by my count.

Nice interpretation:D

What you call "Ouroboros" can be seen as a "feathered snake" aswell,
appearing in mayan mythology.
It could also resemble an asian dragon,
who are more snakelike.
The self consumption also is a picture for being
"alpha" and "omega", beginning and end.

Now that is one very rich picture.

"Dark Wheel" can mean a lot, too.
A wheel drives something, dark could mean "under cover", so they might act as "shadow presidents".
Our galaxy looks like a wheel, a dark wheel could be our galaxy in another dimension.
The sun is depicted as a wheel, a dark wheel could be a dark sun, or a black hole.
