Patch Notes Update Update 1.07 Incoming - 11am GMT

I like the fact that the number of "fix's" are getting smaller patch by patch, that means that its only the Nasty ones that are left and more Dev's can look at them.

I just keep thinking of how big the change log for 1.1 will be. I can't wait to get into the beta and then those of us with access can start spreading the good word to everyone else on what's coming.......
 
It will be interesting to see if the cargo thing works, because there's something really screwy going on as of 1.06

We dumped 6 Palladium to help out a couple of newbie goons. They scooped. I pointed out that I could still see 5 Palladium in my contact list - other goons reported anything from 0 to I think the full complement of 6. I scooped two - my visible amount of Palladium went down, others were unaffected. I dropped my two again, and again, the amount of Palladium reported was by the others was seemingly unaffected, although my local count went back from 3 to 5.

I'm going to fill a ticket for this next one when I get home from work, but we also did a bunch of flying in our local low intensity combat zone, where we discovered that enemy NPC pilot ratings weren't consistant; We had several instances of someone calling out say a Dangerous Asp, others targetting it then having to double check they had the right one because it was showing as a different rating to them. We know we had the same ship in our scopes by checking component damage - that fortunately does seem to be consistent.

Thanks for the update. I wonder how this duplication worked. I have not seen this in the game myself, but others suspect the recent palladium cloud event was "sponsored" by this bug ?
The explanation can wait until the fix is in place. ;-)
 
It just happened. You didn't have to do anything, just drop the cargo. We think it might have been triggered on cannister destruction/decay, because it was often accompanied by an exploding sound.

I remember this bug since early Beta possibly Alpha.
 
Hi everyone,

update 1.07 is incoming. We will remove everyone from the servers at 11am and should be live again within 30 minutes. Here are the changes for this update:

Client Changes:

- Crash fix for low end onboard graphics chipsets
- Block method for duplicating cargo
- Further death related telemetry
- Additional file telemetry for resource loading failure

Server Changes:

- the daily maintenance period is now weekly, the galaxy servers will be unavailable at 0700 UTC on Thursday mornings
- improve private groups and matchmaking at busier playing times
- fixed a rare cause of Commanders being unable to load into the game

Thanks Michael and team, keep up the good work, weekly updates are so much better, allows me to keep playing whenever I want, given, I'll be asleep when they are updated, lol.
 
LOGIN FAILURE
The game failed to communicate with the authentication server.

I sometimes get as far as the splash screen with spinning station but no menu on LHS but no error
