Super update Fd. I've been taking a break for a few day's so only just seen the awesome knew graphics unfortunately 4x supersampling kills my overclocked 780. Can any one tell me how well this game scales with Sli. At the moment I'm not sure weather to wait for big Maxwell (GM 200) or to try and pick up a cheap 780 before they dry up....
Wait, why do you want 4x SSAA??? 7680 pixels??? Are you playing in a cinema screen or something???
I'm assuming your base resolution is 1080p, so just go with 2x SSAA and enable SMAA. 4x SSAA making over 7k pixels of horizontal resolution is just plain unnecessary and extreme exaggeration. =P
 
I'm still waiting for a refund. I was patient enough to stay in the 'Ship Destroyed' screen. Thanks in advance.

From my understanding if it is related to the whole collision/scraping thing, they detailed it and have already given the refunds that they will be given.

Restoring Credits Due to Collision Damage Bug[/h]
Hello Commanders!

As many of you will know, there was a bug in the 1.1 update that caused collision damage to be significantly increased. We have since fixed this bug and restored credits lost by most players who met an untimely demise due to this issue.

A small number of you however may not have been reimbursed yet. If this includes you then please create a technical support ticket at support.elitedangerous.com, detailing the issue and the approximate time & circumstance of your ship destruction, and we will make sure to manually restore your lost credits as soon as we can.

Thank you in advance for your patience if you encountered this issue, and sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused.

Been experiencing issues with the Discovery Scanner and process since this has been rolled out. Scanner takes a long time to return results and the results are often incorrect as well.

Has anyone else noticed this? I have submitted a ticket.

Will it fix the annoying "auto opening" of the Comms panel when you exit the Target panel???

First, thanks for the good work!

Second, why the heck are the updates so slow to download? It usually takes several *minutes* while displaying "Downloading manifest", and then again the download itself is really, really slow - loading a few chunks really quickly, then sitting around, then some more progress, again some minutes doing nothing... I'm on an i7 and have a 100Mbit pipe, so that can't be it. Why aren't you using some nice CDN, or S3, or hell, even BitTorrent? (Maybe you're already doing one of these but heck, it doesn't feel like it.)

I have found I need to go into Control Panel and play around with my Internet settings a bit, not actually changing things, but once I return to the loader it syncs very quickly, like 10 minutes to do nothing and then 3 minutes to complete! I really have no idea why, but.....

Hello there, folks!

1.1.04 has gone live - the servers are up and running.

Client changes:

  • Bounty vouchers can be redeemed at any starport in a system that also contains the faction which issued the bounty.

  • Some Commanders are in systems that cannot currently be retrieved from the server database, which has been causing crashes when loading into the game. We're working to identify and repair the systems affected, which includes a change to automatically report the problem system and exit back to the main menu with a load failure message.

  • Audio for the Imperial Clipper more closely resembles the sound from the 1.07 release.

  • Improved localisation support for community goals (we're still working through some issues with Russian language support).

  • Fixed the 3rd decal not displaying properly on the Python.

  • Fixed a very rare crash triggered by limpets being destroyed.

Server changes

  • Added more checks for starsystems reported to crash the game. This interim measure will automatically attempt to restore access to that starsystem within 10 minutes of the crash being reported.

  • Improved logging for some rare failures when selling exploration data.


I love that you are working so hard on patches and updates :) and I love all the new content.

However I've run in to my first problem that makes the game currently possible to play, every 5 min it just freezes and I have to kill the game in task manager to go on. I'm currently trying to update my drivers and other things before I'm making a ticket just to make sure it's not on my end. however I'd like to know if others have experienced the same ? and what they did to get around it? a happy Player that just want to play more all the time ;)
 
Since 1.1.04 I experience a slight rolling of the station when you try to land on the platform. It's like having "rotational correction" disabled, but not so noticeable and even in the other direction. I first thought about an uncalibrated control on my TS Warthog, but it's not.
Anybody experiencing the same here?

That's what I'm running atm but with resolution 1920 / 1200. But 4x supersampling looks very nice :) I'm guessing Super sampling is related to high resolution (from your reply) so I'm thinking wait for big Maxwell and higher video mem Thanks bud.
 
Today I died: First time since release. I was headed to Dirac Enterprises in LFT 1448 from Zina Aquilae system at the Oefelein Plant. Come out of supercruse to dock at Dirac and ship says shields down then eject. (I had hit nother and there was nothing 'close' to me) I had just requested docking so I was right there (6KM) at the station. 81 tons of gold for the market and 7 tons of superconductor's for a mission. ASP replacement 899K, cargo loss about 1M - Is this a new bug or just a fluke? Death in game means a lot to me and has not happened since before release (I am PB backer). Anyone else had this happen, Just blow up for no reason lately??? Thanks, KB

hyperbolic nonesense. Is this the first online game you've been involved with?


Been playing Mech Warrior Online for 2 years and they NEVER put up a patch or update where they had 4 hot fix in as many days.

This is not a great way to promote the game by having to patch every day.
