The 1.2 update will be going live after the beta testing phase is finished, and will be available to all players at that point.
Just as happened with 1.1

Help to new pilots that work hard!

Hi, i have a request that may help to many new pilots to get start and reach some rank.

when i work hard to destroy WANTED random ships, i gain bounty money. thats great, BUT if i shot one shot at any ship that stands in my laser beam, i get 200 credits and now i am the WANTED!!!
and all imperial ships blow me in a part before i can escape.
not mention that COMMANDERS also having fun to kill me for 200 credits.... that is really bad... as i loose all the credits i have gained for long battle...
Now i loose everything and i must take a lone to buy my ship back... every time that happen i have less will to start over.

So what i suggest is:
Dont set WANTED if only 200 credits added... or max 500, then WANTED status... before that just WARNING... so all CPU ships will not attack and i can go to next station and pay the bill...

OR:

dont take all the bounty credits that we earn so hard, when ship is blowup! that is fair.... at least i get my money saved and dont need to take a bank loan...

===================

Why i cant close the load i have? i have earned money. now i want to close my bill at bank... I cant!!! there is no option to do so...
For new players that get killed often its critical. before they loose all and forced to start over. really sad.

just make new terminal option. PAY THE LOAN! :)

Thanks for great game. best game i ever payed for :)

LOLwut? Oh well, I'm sure the guys will be happy to know they've been coding virtual software all this time.

/tries in vain to wipe the snobbery off...

I was a developer in the US Army; I got out and applied for several jobs as a developer. Through the years I've done quite a bit, including opening my own software development firm. The last ex game designer that came in stating he was a developer I almost believed until I asked him if he had any experience with assembly. He responded, "Mesh assembly?". I moved on to the next applicant. No offense to the devs here, but game developers aren't software developers -- just like you wouldn't call a website designer a software developer because he dabbles in PHP or Python.

I wouldn't have the gall to call myself a coder, programmer or whatever, but I have experience with basic, COBOL, Pascal and others. Point being, I think you had an idiot there, with a jumped-up sense of self-worth, regardless of field. Also, the vague "developer" term is misleading, and could be made to cover a range of roles within the actual development of a piece of software. I'm not familiar with the hierarchy within game studios, but I'd hazard a guess that programmers and designers are worlds apart, in terms of knowledge and role in the development cycle, and to the layperson, it's probably quite easy to class someone erroneously based on one's perception of their title.

From what I can tell, these stutters are not down to the game performance itself, it seems like the game periodically "hangs" between frames while waiting from a response from the server/instance, so I don't think this will get better until they improve their instancing/network code.

There was a person on this forum who bought a new graphics card. Upgraded from an older geforce to the new 970 and started getting the stutters when not had them before.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Most AAA devs usually have to fallback to ASM a lot of times, and even in multiple platforms. I'm a game developer, well, I do not develop games, I port them from one platform to others, and I have to know the machine's ASM and the underlaying architecture of the platform where I am developing on, to port things in a correct and efficient way (everybody wants 60 fps and they don't care if the game was originally programmed on C#+Lua) We also have to know 3D, maths, rendering, sound, I/O, threading, network, a lot of languages (besides our preffered one is always C/C++) and technologies and a lot of specific platform details. I also had worked in R&D projects (digital photogrammetry) and I can say that game development is, regarding on skills and commitment, one of the more demanding software engineering fields that exist.

Perhaps you simply didn't interview the correct guys, but if you want, take a look in UE4, now it has it's source code available, or any other AAA game engine (avoid Unity please :) ) and say again that game developers are not very skilled.

Hi guys..

I have issue after updating to that version!

First of all, i never got any update after 1.1!
After i got 1.1.06, and hadn't got the opportunity to play the game.

Yesterday and today i tried to play it but my game never connects to the server...
It remains unconnected.

Yep same thing happens to me even when I do conflict zone missions. rep goes down for the faction I played part in it seems.

-And I was hoping on taking out anaconda with my landing gear! :/ maybe next patch.
Same here. Just tested 2 days ago and i got negative rep everytime i dropped off bounties. Same place i always got positive rep. No KWS, just straight scanner - wanted's.

BB combat zone missions have their rep gains reversed. The QA people are not paying attention.

I guess you will get that when you try to 'upgrade' from AMD to NVidia. The stutters seem to be strongly related to NVidia.

the game says to check some website on scheduled down time but the website says its being updated lol. How long is the game suppose to be down?
