NMS is a game good for playing hundrets of hours. ED is a game good for playing thousands of hours.
Not thousands of hours of content though. The thousands of hours are artificially inflated with repetitive grind.

Its a space travel game??? what do you expect??Well... if playing is staring a black point for minutes before your arrival...
70% of the time in ED is wasted staring a black point due to interstellar travel.

Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the Serengeti, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon perhaps...Its a space travel game??? what do you expect??

If you want to see grind you will see it everywhere. Not thousands of hours of content though. The thousands of hours are artificially inflated with repetitive grind.

I had slighty more than 100h in NMS, and to be fair I don't see more content. Just "gather 18419 carbon to have 18419 carbon, instead 1". So repetitive grind for grind. In elite my grind at least had purpose, so I can explore in one of 20 different ships![]()
1) What am I going to be downloading to Install and run H 4.0 (live) 40-50 GB?
2) Is the payment of debt in Legacy 3.8 going to clear the Fleet Carrier debt in H 4.0?
3) Is H4.0, much less Odyssey, worth the hassle and effort?
I don't think that will be enough for v4.0..I can probably play H4.0, with a i7-4810MQ CPU and (2) GTX 870M GPU's with 4MB each; but I have only 89 GB of free space on my 500GB SSD.
That's even weaker than the "recommended" GTX 1060-6GB (which will struggle due to insufficient VRAM)I don't think that will be enough for v4.0..
Nope i believe that was always the case if you read the notesLast week I was able to log in to Live on one PC and Legacy on another with the intention of making simultaneous carrier jumps. Now I find that I can be logged into only one of these games at a time using the same account credentials. Has some FDEV policy changed?
and yet, last week, I was logged in to both games simultaneously on different machines. It was definitely the case, as you say, BEFORE update 14, but given they are two completely different games I'm not sure why what I want to do is not possible or allowedNope i believe that was always the case if you read the notes
