But that does depend on the main dish you were hoping for. It's definitely better that bugs are fixed, UI improved and QOL improvements added, but these are side salad to the main dish.
Sorry, but updating and fixing bugs are different things.Bug fixes and UI changes, things that many players have been demanding for ages, such as a way to reduce the FC clutter in system maps and optimisation for some graphics effects. Look, thargoid stuff is really all most of us expected since the major feature rework has been put off, this was always going to be a narrative heavy update, and the narrative is Thargoids! But they have done what a lot of players have been asking them to do, bug fixes and QOL UI updates, how can you be dissapointed? You had big ideas of what was coming? You expected landable ELW maybe?
It's literally in the first post of this thread. Thanks for the update guys. Its my fault to not having the latest information.
Indeed.Sorry, but updating and fixing bugs are different things.
I'm expecting some videos from enthusiastic commanders exploring the origin points of the maelstroms. I can't say I'm not curiousBut that does depend on the main dish you were hoping for.
I really appreciate the correction of mistakes, too. It's just that when I'm writing a program and someone points out a mistake to me, I'm obliged to fix it. In the case of introducing something new into the program without an additional technical specification is not a mandatory thing.Indeed.
But to be fair I still appreciate fixes more, than new ShInY content.
But maybe because I'm still not bored by current content.
Fixing past errors isn't really that exciting.
It used to be impossible to play after every update until several micro-patches came out after the update. There are some people on the forums who would disagree, I have seen recently requests for FDEV to do a bug fix update, but whatever happens they usually do a bit of bug fixing and minor QOL updates every patch, but we already knew this was just going to be a narrative update after FDEV put of the major feature update, I would say anything on top of that is mentionable.

Well, this is but one example of a few things that might be fixed that didn't make it into the release notes. That's happened before even in the short time I've been around. We can only wait and see, and in the immortal words of any efficiently-priced QA team: "Please retest."So still no fix for the disappearing planets in supercruise?
This will happens at the moment we get some improvements to the fps at on ground fights and the fix for broken Salvage missions. So perhaps end of the year or next year I guess. Sarcasm offSo still no fix for the disappearing planets in supercruise?
To be fair that seems to be any ship, not just the T10, that is flying faster than it could with the scoop open, prospector limpets just aren’t fast enough to get out of the way. Also no mention of fixing the Type 10 from smashing up its own prospector limpets as soon as they are launched...
Will this future "overhaul" be on Legacy as well? Since the original thread that got the ball rolling on this was directed at console players as well ?It's unfortunate that we don't have the Feature Overhaul in April, whatever it may be.
But, thanks for the update we really appreciate it

I'm assuming that the thread you are referring to was prior to all console development being shelved, so I'd assume "no".Will this future "overhaul" be on Legacy as well? Since the original thread that got the ball rolling on this was directed at console players as well ?
