I'm just saying that fixing payed stuff can be actually as important (if not more) than fixing regular gameplay bugs.
Ideally, all bugs should be fixed, but they do have to prioritize.
And not at last, fixing a paint and fixing a gameplay bug might involve different teams - so, at least in theory, they should be able to fix the paints without interfering with other type of bugfixing.
 
All bugs should be fixed, but of course with limited resources they must prioritize. I only wish that we had more of a window into those priorities, especially considering some of these issues have languished in the tracker for more than two years (the stellar lighting bug dates from Dec 2021). Will it be fixed next update, next year, or what?
 
The development of the Thargoid War story is certainly interesting, but again we see only minimal cosmetic fixes in this patch, while a huge number of bugs still remain untouched. For example, I’m in Colonia, and I haven’t even started fighting the Thargoids yet, maybe I won’t have time))
To be honest, regarding bug fixes, I am very disappointed with this patch and I don’t see any reason for the applause and admiration for FDev that I see in the comments here. It's my personal opinion.
 
If lasers in Elite have recoil they should also get the force shell experimental effect!
Inertial impact v2.0—I'd love that!

Side note: I don't think "lasers" are lasers at all. More like plasma lances. Lasers are probably involved in creating the plasma, though, hence the colloquial misnomer. Explains why we need ionized gas to upgrade Takada "laser" guns😉
 
They can't fix every bug in 1 update.

Sorry man !! this issue is long time ago! +5 Updates realese ago. Others and I take tickets in issue tracker.
Anothers isues are with the packages of ships and items.
The Xeno scanner is not working as it should. If you scan the 3 new targoid vessel, it don't go to the Codex. You need to enter explorer mode and scan with the composition data (sorry I don't know how it is in English but I think it is understood) as if it were a flower. :ROFLMAO: 🤷‍♂️

(It's no wonder some of these 'bugs' are longstanding when they're in ppls heads :) )
 
I'm feeling so impatient for this update... how long does the maintenance normally take? I imagine this one might take even longer with the file size.

Last few updates have been on the order of hours, but always ended up extended to the majority of the day IIRC, maybe Fdev learned why there were always update day delays and mayyyyyyyybe this one might be the 7 hours anticipated?
 
You can do this manually in the keybinds file by copying and pasting and changing the line with the bind name. Can have quite a lot of presets if you wish this way
