Still waiting for the Option to change the UI Color
THIS! So much this! I'd LOVE to change my HUD away from this gloomy orange to something more appealing/arousing BUT it will also change my indicator of hostile/friendly ships. That is a big nuisance since fast recognition of ships is more important than ever. All it needs are 2 different <GUIColour> settings in the config file, like <GUIColour> and <HUDColour> e.g.. The first setting is applied to all GUI but the radar blobs and selected target info while the second setting is applied ONLY to radar and target info. This change in code should also be easy to apply - just search at which locations <GUIColour> is read out and rendered and change it to <HUDColour> for the area or graphic objects "radar" and "target info".

Same is true for Engineers info - it takes 15-20 seconds to load their faces.
Same is true for mission NPCs in station - takes long to load them.
Same is true for mission icons (arrows, containers, aid hand, ...) - takes WAY too long to load them.
Same is true for galay map.
Same is true for system map.
PLEASE consider a preloading and caching algorithm!
Store the mission icons locally on my PC, there is only a finite set of them. Store the engineers faces locally on my PC, there is again only a finite set of them.
Preload mission NPC faces while docking at a station and cache them.
Preload system map while supercruising/jumping into a new system and cache it so it doesn't have to be loaded every time and opens faster.
Cache current location and proximity of galaxy map so it opens faster the next time I open it.
This not only allows a more convenient player experience but also lowers bandwidth with your servers and server workload and as these things are cached locally.
/I have a 36 MBit internet connection and SSD, so please don't blame loading times it on my rig.
