Patch Notes Update Update 3.3.03

Same here. Even in combat mode, or even in another system, light years away, the same string of asteroid belts keeps being discovered.
Quitting to the the Menu, and resume playing fixes it, until the next bunch of asteroids is discovered.

Frontier have their own internal bug tracking system ( JIRA ). The forum bug reports are for players. These reports are then entered into JIRA. What goes on in the bug forum isn't representative of what's happening internally.

Thank you for the patch and the notes guys, I love the update and the features, you are making strides lately and I appreciate the hard work you've done over the last year, it shows. Okay, with that said, let's get down to seriousness here with the patching, i'm looking at well over 80 pages of bug reports here... this patch is quite small and worries me. I appreciate the frequency of the patching but ... so many, SOOOOO many issues are swept under the rug, not lower priority, i'm referring to the archived bug report section, it is massive. What is going to be done besides more delays on these things, pushing back content more a result, or should I just not worry and continue to be patient, for more months and months? Just speculating here, but I feel it's time to shift gears and actually fix things that have needed to be fixed for months, some of them over a year now. The pile is getting quite tall, it's time to do something about it.

I'm trying to upgrade via the launcher and it keeps crashing and this is the popup

I am extremely happy to see another weekly patch. I hope this trend continues, progress is progress and every little bit helps us get closer to the goal.

Thanks team!

Thank you for the fixes. However, the most annoying bugs still remain. Deploying SRV often hangs up the game (the camera just stays there in the cockpit), the chat panel is buggy, crops messages etc. I wish these bugs were fixed as well.

Planets that have not been mapped by the player should no longer display the blue mapped effect

This is still not working.

and we have a new bug - spam messages about the discovery of belt clusters.

Urgently need a new patch!

I agree that the surface mapping matrix should disappear when you're not in DSS mode, but there already is a button to toggle its display. HUD mode. Switch from analysis mode to combat mode and it will disappear. It would be overkill to add another separate toggle i.e. orbit lines.

Still broken.

Thanks, Will and Frontier, for the BGS fix. Hopefully that will take care of a bunch of the issues.

A look at trade, mining and explo data would still be great. It is unclear what they're doing or supposed to be doing at the moment.

It's nice that the blue overlay goes away in combat mode, but it's sometimes still there even with external camera view, as I reported on page 5, which is beyond stupid:

In my opinion, the overlay can go away once the planet has been 100% mapped. Problem solved.
