Hello, is it just me or is the in-flight background music bleeding into the System Map screen? Both music tracks are playing at the same time. There is a condition though... this only seems to happen when I access a System Map through the Galaxy Map. If I just open the local System Map directly the music transitions properly.

When a bug is fixed a new one has to take its place to maintain equilibrium. It's the law or something.

Having slept, I wish to double down on my outrage yesterday in my debug logs.

"2018 is bug fix year" is about the biggest joke Mr. Braben's company has brought on since 1993.

We are still left with numerous (!) bugs that were introduced in 2018, some of them well known "ghosts from the past" as in revived-bugs-from-older-versions.

- Wing Nav Lock still places ships far out sometimes, jeopardizing safety. One can NOT escort a trader with being 100% sure a nav lock will work.
- NPC blocking landing pads - assigned landing pads - making it neccessary to undock, revoke, applay again, redock. In CUTTERs or other big stuff.
- NPC blocking landing pads on outposts - making it neccessary to switch modes or at least restart. This is not only a catastrophe in terms of immersion, it's annoying as hell
- Adjucation, Matchmaker... killing connections
- Instances - sometimes full, sometimes empty. WITHOUT changing any relevant factors. Same ship, same place, same action, not talking.

I love Elite. I have loved it and I will most propably keep on doing so. Still, there is NO reason to praise a company for "fast fixes" that is so unbelievably ignorant about their immature code.

FDev had embarassing moments yet: showing off Elite and seeing it crash while observed by countless people. Still, they don't learn.

Whatever FDev brings up in terms of "new product in Q1/19"... the product, the player base and the company's reputation would benefit big time from some REAL bug fix team. One that doesn't brag about "[n] thousand bugs fixed" but one that doesn't introduce another thousand issues each update. This is abysmal performance on a wonderful product :-(

I am a software engineer and typically when you have a patch release two days in a row, they introduced a bug in the prior patch and quickly fixed it. If they have something more complicated that they are working on that requires more code to be refactored then you can't really compare a simple bug fix to a more complicated development effort. I am sure they are prioritizing their resources accordingly.

Good grief! I think I heard a voice of reason there for a minute. ;) :D

Thing is, I never got CTD until the last update. Then I had several - no wonder there's this quick fix!

Glad tho!

Also glad my fiber box is literally across the street and updates only take 10 minutes.....every time....

Do you have any idea of the file size of the patch for PS4? I'm on limited bandwidth, so every MB matters. Speaking of, since I often take my console into town to apply patches, I do appreciate the couple days heads-up.

You a fellow wilderness dweller are you Duck?
