It's not ungrateful! That's still being determined while we talk about the fixes we'd like to do and work out what's possible according to our resources between now and Xmas.

Bruce, please let them know Santa will come earlier if there's a fix for the 32 button limit please, please, pleaseeee.

After a few tests I have come to the conclusion that the blank fire groups are an annoyance. I have checked my HUD and it only sees filled in fire groups and not the empty ones which is a relief as I had visions of the HUD seeing all of them, including the blank ones. I can't see this as a game breaker but an annoyance like the Session Logs and Archive STILL not accessable and the Facilities STILL being blank in the System Map.

@Rubbernuke Hey, you remember when there was the issue in powerplay where one of the power's would start a CZ and all the npcs spawned with no weapons making them hilariously easy to beat and how much that mattered to everyone because of the long standing effects it will have on the persistent state of powerplay and so that's why Fdev dropped everything and fixed it over a month later?

Yea, something tells me scanning non-interactive plants by staring at them is a bit less of a problem than ruining powerplay for an entire power years ago when it was still something anyone actually cared about. the 180+ people shouldn't hold your breath.

How could I forget? It wrecked a lot of powers with expansions that could not be lost. Consequently combat expansion Powers bloated up and ruined years of careful work and left a lot of unhappy people.

Yes, I was going to go buy some of those, but now I'm worried that if they change the base weight, already existing ones might not get assigned the new weight.

Please fix exobiology! It is a game breaker bug for exploration! It should be on your top list! I don't know why your test procedures are so bad at this time... every update breaks areas of game...

Hostile ships not being correctly marked on the radar

This is still my problem.. Most of the ship who attack me dont show red color on my radar.. What kind of fix for the last patch is that ? Really funny !

Known Issues

The above fixes are designed to address the bulk of stability-related issues that arose following Update 9. We’re aware of other issues and are currently planning how to address them. They include but are not limited to:

Exiobiology issues, really should have been at the top of this list, anything that is game breaking to one of Odysseys new main career paths should have been addressed ASAP. An exobiologist, who can not do half of the exobiology out there, kind of frustrating.

This is literally game breaking for me. I cannot play until it is fixed, as I am over 20,000Ly from anywhere scanning Biological life. If one of the new professions introduced in Odyssey is not working, should it not be a top priority? To not even include it in the list make me very concerned that I won't be playing over the holiday period at all.

Empty fire groups were always removed, this isn't the case anymore.

So far this looks trivial to me. Or what else am I missing...

edit:

The only halfway plausible (very speculative) explanation why I seem to be an exception here is that all groups were already occupied before update 8 and after update 8 they were all deleted but still present, even if empty. Apparently this mechanism, which automatically removes empty groups and creates them as needed, has broken down. And all those who had only occupied 2 or 3 groups before update 8 can now only occupy these. Can anyone confirm this?
If this matters at all, then only for the developers I guess...

I am playing Elite since 2015 and this never happend. Please fix that as soon as possible!

It's good to see that some of the issues that prevented some people from venturing out anywhere at all have been fixed, but it is disheartening to see that a bug breaking one of the only things that worked reasonably well this dlc didn't even make it to the shortlist of known bugs. I guess I will park my ship for the next 40-50 days in the middle of nowhere, because there is little reason for me to continue exploring, and I hope that frontier will be gracious enough to fix the scanner in update 10.

I acknowledge and respect people's time. Those who work on my entertainment. And this weekend ruined not just some devs', but their loved ones weekend too.As an explorer in the game I am dissatisfied with the bugs too. Who knows what caused the bugs in the update at the first place, probably the end-of-the-year crunch. But the individuals and their families who were put into this situation didn't cause the bugs personally. So my thanks goes out to them. They were working hard, alas obviously sacrificing the full weekend of a specified number of people was not enough to amend all problems. But it doesn't mean we are entitled to be disrespectful to individuals (and their families) whom we don't even know personally.

I think it’s safe to assume some work was done over the weekend to try and get a patch out. Even if they didn’t the sentiment of being respectful still holds. No, we don’t like the bugs or being unable to play. But we should keep in mind that they don’t like it either.
