I don't even understand why that option is there?

Personally, I would like to be able to buy fuel by the tonne in the same way as we buy commodities or limpets. If you're long-range smuggling and you've fitted an extra fuel tank, it can negatively impact your jump range if you have to take on more fuel than you need by always filling the tank. Pilots in the (other) real world have that ability; it would be useful if we could too.

English isn't my first language, but that word .... I think it doesn't mean what I think it means :) When the initial time is 1-2 hours and the little additional time is starting to be a factor of that, can we still describe that as 'little'? Proposal: Everything is moving along well but it does mean that the servers will need to remain down for what seems an eternity.
It's the British propensity for understatement :)

An hour's notice doesn't really help when you take the day off work, accept a load of missions in the morning, take the kids out for a trip and then come back to do the missions in the afternoon...
It is impossible to plan updates so it doesn't affect anyone at all, they aim after weekdays with lowest population, when most people are at work, only real time to do it.
Not to be too ungrateful - but given the delay of 2.1, would it be too much to expect the next update, of any kind, to address the bugged missions? Or even at least an official statement saying which missions have a chance of being impossible to complete? For the sake of your players that don't frequent the forums to find out this stuff it would seem far more important than various VR enhancements which, while welcome, only really affect a tiny portion of your players.

All updates are good, but the way things are prioritised strikes me as very odd, and out of sync with what is important to your players. Can we expect to feel confident that all missions are working before 2.1 hits, as promised in the 2.1 delay thread, or will this never happen?
The mission issue isn't an easy fix? that is why the mechanics behind it are being redone, basically ripping out all the code for it, leaving the interface and mission types intact?

Hey guys,

Sorry about the delay in keeping you informed.

We're still working on the update and expect it to be another hour roughly.

Will keep you informed. :)

UPDATE 2: We're still working on the update. We are now expecting it to be ready to download at about 3:30 pm GMT (approximately). :)
Wipe that smile of yer face! [mad]

That should have read:

"Zac, tell them it will be longer"

"Erm how much?"

"An hour"

"An hour?"

"Roughly"

"Great...."

they could have said 3.30 earlier, then i wouldn't have had to sit here for hours bleating on this forum like a sheep deprived of straw.

Great to see some Xbox support!

Good to see that us Xbox CMDRs are getting the love too!
Any news you could spill on the progress for getting Horizons on console?

Those people with plenty of spare time won't understand how incredibly annoying it is when we don't get more notice of these Updates.
Even a couple days would do.

Your right Macy cannot understand it at all. It's one of the very few benfits of being retired.[noob]

Impossible to plan updates? Of course they plan updates, what they cannot plan for us unforeseen problems like the ones they are experiencing now.
Hope they get things sorted soon, I have 5kylies to fly today for DWE.

Maybe I was unclear - I understand that fixing missions is a huge deal, but removing the ones that don't work should not be a big issue, just a serverside switch on/off. This might have happened already but I can't see any changes to the types of missions presented, and I certainly don't trust that all of them will work as there has not been any official statements that I can find stating that anything has been removed.

Yep, not complaining about the update (or even the increased outage) merely the amount of notice. And I'm pretty sure that internally it's known for longer than an hour that they're going to take the servers down.
