Ah, "soon" is nice word it can mean anything from days, weeks to months, without actually saying anything much, it`s vagueness is soothing to some and cause for agitiation or excitement in others.

So much wrong with that but I won’t bother.
IMHO resources to fix EDO issues have been reduced to a minimum, staff are not to blame, I think its FD policy at work. IMO I think FD might have decided to stretch patching and updating EDO as long as possible, with minimum resources, at the same time pushing more resources on developing a second version of EDO ( Odyssey II ?)
One gets the impression that the current engine cannot handle current graphics demand needed to drive next generation 4k consoles and PC graphics cards.

We could be 4 weeks closer to Odyssey for console or 4 weeks closer to them pulling the plug on console.

If I had to guess it means that they want to talk to us but since people seem to take what they say as gospel and run with it in 20 different directions then get mad when their imagined outcome doesn't happen.... they are trying to figure out how to quell that outcome by carefully doling out the news.
