I'll add my 2 cents, regarding the Hodack permit. Amalangkan's only station, Doi Landing, is now controlled by the Hodack prison faction. Should make getting the permit much easier :)

Just started looking for the Crom permit; this might be helpful in the OP - you need missions from The Silver Boys faction, and the systems you can pick up missions from would be Bunuras*, Herthe*, Laifangyi, 69 G. Carinae, and Un Narraya going by the faction's system influence. The Silver Boys don't control any stations outside of Crom by the looks of it.

Bleh still can't get permit to pop for SOL no matter how many missions I do, Fed factions I get rep with. RNG Rank for permits = the suck:mad:

Pi Mensae permit is also easy to gain via "Alpha Chamaelontis" since a week. Station is in Broderhood hand ...
In Bunuras "The Silver Boys" (CROM permit) growing fast. Now #1 with over 36%. I look this since a former CMDR tip here.
Watch closly ... Station take over can happen every time.

But things changes really fast. Old pirate strongholds like in "Quator" or "Orerre" have fallen in a few days.

Better collect the permits as long they are so easy available if interested.
Think/dream also at the upcomming transport ORCA missions ...

The permit list is not working like this for me, i got the Vega permit at warrant officer, and I am now ensign and have the exbeur permit. Maybe it's works differently for different people.

Also I dont yet have the Hors permit

Trying to work permits to the founders for non backers in to the game. You can do missions for the Pilots Federation at LFT 926 and become allied with the Pilots Federation until you get access to the founders system.

Being Allied doesn't help. The requirements for the permit are:

1) Be Elite in Exploration Or Combat Or Trading
OR
2) Be a kickstarter backer

Has nothing to do with faction status.
