it's even better with scope and hip fire accuracy, add some other goodies like increased range or increased magazine size or stowed reloading or faster handling or... 😂

I heard about the Intimidator + Scope and how it boosts your dmg (this + aiming-down like I said, lol). In the same spirit, I cannot imagine what kind of madness it will be coupled with 'Combat Movement Speed' on the Suit.

Also, I wonder, for the Executioner Marksman, do you guys think "Headshot Damage" is worth it or its base-dmg are already enough ?

Headshot is not really needed. g5 damage is enough and the implicit 2x boost from the innate headshot damage is also enough.
Hip fire will be better since it can reduce the spread even more

Thx for the advice, I think you got me convinced, you're probably right, 'HIP Accuracy' is gonna be more useful than 'Head Shot Dmg' for the Intimidator. I'll most probably do that 👍🙏 Edit : HIP Acc for all those quick shot when I don't wanna aim-down ;)

you don't actually need the scope, hipfire accuracy gives you pretty good grouping when you ADS on its own.

However, I have my Mobile Suit (a dominator with hipfire accuracy, jump assist, sprint, and shield regen) and put both my shotguns on it and it was hilarious.
Primary shotgun: Mag size, hipfire accuracy, stowed reloading, faster handling.
Secondary shotgun: Mag size, hipfire accuracy, noise suppressor, audio masking.

I lucked out and found a pre-upgraded shotty at G3 last night that I was able to upgrade to G4, and I'm only 7 manufacturing instructions away from being able to turn it into a copy of the primary up there - Being able to unload three shots into an enemy, switch to the silent shotgun, fire three more, switch back to the one that's reloaded by now, and drop another three shots was great - just slightly awkward as I had to use my downtime to make sure the silent one was reloaded and ready for the next rampage and would end up stuck with regular reload times as a result until I took a breather.

Sprint duration is something I'm finding really useful in CZs, and honestly I find it a bigger deal than jump assist when it comes to running back and forth to cover the capture points. It's fun with the L-6 (and I find that running twin L-6 or twin shotgun doesn't sucker me into getting cocky the way I was with the L-6/intimidator combo) but that needs the sprint even more thanks to the time you spend running back to ammo boxes.

And having used a suit with combat movement, using one without it feels painful in a hectic CZ.

Damn, you guys are totally making me re-think my understanding of mods, looks like I should have studied them more. 👍👍

So, sticking to the Intimidator shotgun topic :

- @Northpin and you totally sold me on the 'Hipfire Acc'. I dunno how I overlooked it. Like I showed on my Intimidator video, when you're in a very close distance from your target it's probably more "reliable" to shoot without ADS (so you can keep "dancing" faster).

- @Screemonster , you mentioned 'Mag Size'. My god, I misinterpreted the mod description, I thought it was giving you more "total" ammo in your rifle, but finally you're confirming me that it's an actual "extra bullet before reload" (well a magazine ...) 🤯🤯🤯 I knew I saw one guy shooting me 3 times with its Intimidator once, I thought I just dreamt, lolol 😂 . Anyway, for sure 'Mag Size' is gonna be mandatory then 🙏🙏

So finally, it's still gonna be an heartbreaker to have to choose only 4 of those 5 mods : Reload Speed, Greater Range, Hip Acc, Mag Size and Scope.

The huge deal is gonna be to choose between 'Hip Acc' and 'Scope'.

That might be the tiebreaker I'm looking for, thanks. I tend to agree with you, sounds like 'Hip Acc' might be enough and more useful.
 
Reload speed is honestly pretty poor. It's only a 20% reduction in reload times which is... fine on something like the L-6 as it shaves an entire second off, but the intimidator reloads pretty fast as-is.
