[Video] Griefing : is there a problem?!

Or maybe because its more entertaining, the same as people go out in the wild and shoot deer,

its more fun than shooting a cardboard cutout of deer in the shooting range. also wild deer have the chance of over reacting on "/r/deer" or "wildlife . frontear . com / forums" and providing a bonus form of entertainment

So basically 1 and 5 then?

I "know" the ones who frequent discussion like this, those who justify their behaviour.

But "know" is a term that has very little meaning on the internet, I'm certain many PvPers have a negative opinion of me, none of them actually "know" me.

They can judge you by the same merits you do others.

I won't make up statistics however!
So I guess that makes you simply dishonest?

Where's that Rampant character?!

One point in your post makes me want to comment: in my opinion Dove Enigma would never had been in the spotlight the way it was if there wouldn't have been the attempt to UA bomb it. All this vitriol and hate I read about that event against the UA bombers is imho total bull*. The UA bombing was the best (emergent content) that could've happened to the expedition. It would have been an obscure rand note of some dozens of explorers, and not the hundreds of pilots from everywhere dropping meta alloys at Colonia. Sorry, I'm just triggered by the mentioning of that event as something bad.

Ask Dove Enigma himself (the cancer patient), I think he's still with us. Ask him about the hurt that it caused him personally when that happened, not the response, but when it looked like his last few months of the game were going to spoiled. The response was fantastic as it showed what the vast majority of the player-base thought about that kind of behaviour but don't pat yourself on the back for trying to spoil a dying players last few months of gameplay.

I liked your old sig.

Have some respect, you!

What in the world are you talking about now?

Who do you think is "lashing out"?

the underlined text is a link to another thread. its relevant to the question the poster asked, but not relevant to the current topic here. So if you wish to know what its about, feel free to look at it :)

I am in that thread.
You are avoiding my question.

You may be asking the wrong questions....
Maybe you should ask, Why are there no PvP related events or CGs?

Oh Agree with that. There should be Frontier supported PvP events or CGs but how do you monitor the Combat Logging problem? I always thought that Powerplay was somewhere where consensual PvP was understood and accepted but we all know what's happened to that gameplay mode.

Awww and poor Yamiks just sits there in the corner like chopped liver!

I wouldn't say chopped Liver, more like some nice diced steak to be saved for later. You are quite welcome to come on and discuss this in the next few weeks. I suspect that DW2 and, unfortunately the griefing surrounding it, are all we will be talking about until Frontier tells us what the next big thing is.

1. Players who Min/Max really only have only themselves to blame.

I remember when that applied to PvP ships which got stuck in systems after the owners undersized their FSDs and replaced their fuel-scoops with yet another HRP and then went out and gained a Wanted tag.
They only had themselves to blame for minmaxing their ships and yet bleating about it to FDev resulted in it getting changed.

That was one, specific, case where there might have been meaningful consequences for criminal behaviour (with the permanent loss of a ship) and FDev capitulated and provided a way out. [sad]

i don't get what you try to do here? The linked thread explains why i see some people as 'lashing out'. i'm not going to explain it again here, when there is a perfectly hilarious thread about it already.
I'm not going to get into a pointless forum fight. If your interested, go look (really look).

I have not avoided the question, but given you an answer you don't like. Why do people keep making that mistake in the forums

In what way did it get changed?

sorry :(

still, watch out Darth, i think Obi-Wan Kenobi is around telling people 'These Are Not the Answers You Are Looking For'

That Rebel Scum has a lot to answer for then, besides griefing my DeathStarrz with his Gank-squad wing-mates in their META build X-Wings.

Well this is a nice thread... lots of sarcasm, with a helping of toxic "ALL PVPERS ARE BAD!!!!111!!"

one comment I keep finding pop up is the "I shouldn't have to consider being shot at during exploration", this is wrong. you have no idea what you are going to find out there so prep for the worst case. I explore in a combat T10 currently and covered 13,000 LY in under 6 hours to prove it could be done just as easily as any other exploration ship... and this was with all the server issues and the T10s SC bugs.

Sorry, you are wrong, the only places you may get the chance to get blown up are the waypoints in DWE2 and as you may notice, that's predictable, hence, one can prepare for it without modifying your build to deal with some annoying mosquitoes.
