Yes, done that and I am not using steam, its a bug, it makes no difference what setting you try, it wont work.

We have been made aware of an issue that causes context menus in-game to not show correctly. This is an issue we are aware of and investigating, and we hope to have a resolution for soon.

Everyone, this may not work, but there seems to have been a driver update for the HOTAS One, you could try it and see if it resolves the issue.

appreciate the effort but im holding out for frontier just fixing it soon. not a fan of having to install other software to work around a bug. my luck it will be fixed tomorrow after hacking together this fix and totally redoing keybinds. no I'll wait.

ok good luck with that! , you dont need a mike with joy gremlin but yea it does need to run every time you play elite
the bonus is if fd change the bindings again via a patch you will remain pretty much un effected
mind you it does take quite an effort to program it too..........

i however dont use it i just use voice attack personally (but i made my own custom voice pack from scratch inc expletives and a hell of a lot of additional sound effects and music via audacity sound sampling sofware my vocda robo voiced ship is quite rude and sarcastic with over 30 responses for the cargo scoop alone)

Ok we get it(for the umpteenth time), you use voice attack, good for you. Anything else not about the bug you want to share with us ? Perhaps what you had for dinner?

i suggest you set me to ignor if you don't find my input relevant or helpful it's but a click away just hover mouse over my pic and click job done(y)
instead of all that nasty uninstalling reinstalling if you wish to reset your bindings close down the game and simply delete the bindings folder and a new default one will be regenerated upon the next boot up (hope that is not what they advise with apologies for any inconvenience caused when the issue tracker is resolved;))
as mentioned hope you don't have to wait to long for a fix.............

specially scripted combinations of one or more binds using the context enable function to a single input ie a hat switch via the use of input modifiers
and that those functions when set cause unwanted side effects like boosting for eg also that the visual widget does not behave correctly on some game console compatible devices meaning they would have to switch back to an old direct x 32 button per device limit instead of the new 128 if no longer using direct x(which i cant see them doing if they have) or rescript the binding file structure and preset device id's yet again which could equate to a long wait just.to hazard a guess🤷‍♂️

i notice that you have got no ideas of your own apart from wait for a fix...................
as you dont like third party so wait you will...........
there was a rumour going round that they were going to 128 inputs non direct x ? but it is just a rumour really not sure for fact
